This 3 tonner based at Waltham has a West Yorkshire Reg, I drove one of the 6ton models when I first started driving in the 50s, Thank you for a cracking photo, It brings back a lot of happy day memmories, Regards Larry.

Its not a Co-op depot its where the coal merchants used to load in Newcastle, Railway Street I think at the Newcastle end of Scotswood Rd.Regards Larry.

If a driver is a bit camera shy, the best thing to do is to put your camera on Sport’s mode

This hopefully will catch it if it is coming a bit too fast!!
