the one on the turntable has a canvas trailer. the one going in didnt

haha, amazing

About 15 years ago I was working for B.O.C. in Crewe and we delivered
to M and S in chester, they had a turntable but you had to drop your trailer,
before they could spin it round.

I beleive that the police station on Colchester has had something similar for some years so the prison vans can be turned around.

went on one of them at manchester university years ago only with a rigid thou

The first truck is one of our fridge boxes, the second is an ambient curtainsider.

Been on that one at Bearsden loads of times and its a complete nightmare when it doesn`t work.

We also have one at Galashiels and most of the time they dont use it as there is plenty of room to drive over it and turn in the yard. I did that one time and they hadn`t locked the turntable. Bloody trailer started to turn the turntable and it just gets you into a whole load of trouble trying to get off it without demolishing a wall!!

Why not just build said sites with plenty of space to turn a truck round! LOL

Space you leave to turn a truck round is space you cannot put shelves and stock in to sell to the public. That is why nearly all shopping centres and loading bays for retail are about 4 inches larger than technically needed to either fit in or turn round in.

Old hat that when i was a lad use to go to the train yard an watch the trains on the turntable and there more fun to watch when i was a lad

awesome gis a go

The bod at the end wasnt wearing gloves or toetectors

Now there’s an idea to replace mini roundabouts :exclamation: :exclamation:

If I remember correctly these one those at ASDA Chapletown in Sheffield off J35 of M1.

Most of the branches of Travis Perkins I deliver to could do with one of these…

can i have a season ticket please

Managed to figure out how to put the videos directly on the page.

Waitrose in Ampthill have one of those good idea when its as tight as that site is.
