I am guessing that a couple of people have to sit on a tandem bike to make it spin around…
Asda’s way of saving electric for the carbon footprint■■? " So we don’t have to worry"
And of course at the asda store there is the store managers car illegally parked in the loading bay.
i am sure that turntable is glasgow or close bye had a ride on it when i took fork lifts in
yes one at a asda in the liverpool area i think? i was delivering some milk for arla its cool! just like a big roundabout they should all have them
Asda Kelso has one if I think rightly, it’s handy as the small yard was no good for turning around in and the bay was out of view for reversing in which was difficult to see due to the high fence.
An excellent idea for once! Bravo!
Used one in Westminster a couple of years ago, was only big enough for large van or small 7.5t but you had to drive down a ramp to an underground level and onto the turn table to get out. Was a bit unecessary as a 3 point turn would’ve done the job, it was used as an unloading bay with stuff stored around it so they probably got fed up of ppl smashing stuff trying to get back out, or more likely it was a government building and they just wanted to waste money, can’t remember what the place was.
Rackhams in Birmingham used to have one. Went there once for the Co-op with an 18 tonne fridge and the regular [Black ■■■■■■■■■■■■■ sitting beside me. “It’s a bit tight” he said and it was. I would never have tried it if he hadn’t been there.
Up a ramp with two 90 degree bends with barely enough room, to the first floor and on to the turntable whick was hand operated (you just pushed the truck round. Backed on the bay and found all we had for them was a box of croissants. Getting down was even harder and I had to keep shunting back and forth to get it round. When we (finally) got out he said “Ah! I forgot this truck’s 2 feet longer than mine.”
dont think i,ll bother, cos on the day i turn up, it,ll be broke anyhow, so i,ll stick to the old fashioned way,(an come on be honest,) it takes all the fun out of it.
who can tell me where ma nearest one is
i’ll have a ticket for life
