Clive Cowern Transport.. Bridgnorth...?

A word of advice about this outfit…

Make sure that if you are offered a job by this company that you get a signed contract of employment from Clive Cowern… otherwise you may find yourself cheated out of money that you believe you are rightly due, like me…

Don’t get me wrong… the work is okay, but the management couldn’t find their backsides with both hands… They have no idea of what it takes to run an honest business… no wonder we are facing a downturn in our industry when there are people out there that conduct themselves in this way…

Just to make my comments clear… I have watched this company dump on honest hardworking staff and expect them to be loyal and earn them money without question… I can hear some say that this is not the only company that treats its staff in this manner… I have never experienced it before and can’t understand what these employers get out of being like this…■■

For myself… I couldn’t stand by and watch any longer, so gave them notice and that’s when it turned nasty… Good riddens to bad rubbish…

Rant over…     :smiling_imp:

i take it that you have pointed them in the direction of this here thread.
so they can defend themselves… :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:

see they advertising on jobcentreplus 490 plus 20 night out 4 nights out a week

Terry… I have made then aware… Not sure if they are really interested as they don’y pay enough attention to their work force… but that’s life…!!!

As for the job listing… they don’t tell you that in that amount is a bonus based on mileage… I always thought that was illegal…?

i see somone else has fell victim to clivecowboy i used to work for this cowboy and can back up every thing paulduncan
is saying about clivecowboy he thinks hes beyond the law he treats drivers like [zb]

he throws mobile phones at you

you havent got a life beyond clivecowboy

you cant have time of to see the doctor

you exist just for clivecowboy

and like he says the biggest part of your money is based on milage bonus which has you all no is illegal

any one thinking of going to work for this cowboy think again you will regret it

for proof i used to work for him click the images below its my old motor

if you need to alter it to get past the auto censor, you know it’s not allowed ! Denis F

At least Clive Cowboy gets what he deserves and lets you fill the screen with crap so you cant see out.

Didnt Paul Duncan post a similar thread about Mainland Car Deliveries in Runcorn?

The £ can’t be that bad as there must be a least £200 of ■■■■ in that windscreen, just another billy big wheels :unamused:

I’m sure that the XXL cab had a lot to do with the job being taken in the 1st place

3 mobile phones  Bullfighting sticks  Speed camera detector  God help us :unamused:

Yes, and I think CC + family were at the front, when the trouble started IIRC.

I wonder why ESL give so much work to them, it does not fit in with corporate responsibilty does it ?

Ah but the 3 mobile phones are probably what the boss threw at him :stuck_out_tongue:

A old Yorkshire farmer who my brother worked for would shout.

“Wat’s he doin? Pelt a tonnip at that lad’s ead” in response to a foolish act.

you are correct m8 it was them but it wasent the drivers fault it was cowern and is son

One of the first things I do agency driving when I get in a cab like that is rive everything in the windscreen of, I tell the gaffers I will do it, and no I don’t put it back.

I don’t move or touch or interfere with anything else apart from this silly thing

at the end of the day this post is about a bad haulage operator who is treating us drivers that he employs in a bad way, forget what the guy has in the window of his truck - thats his business, there is a warning here to other drivers not to work for this cowboy, when they cannot get drivers they may change their attitude and give drivers a better deal and a little more respect if someone doesn’t point VOSA in the direction of this post or that company first and have them shut down completely.
my first phone call would be to VOSA if i thought i had been working for a cowboy operator, backed up with detailed information of events, dates, names and vehicle registrations.

Two sides to every story though & until we hear the other side we will continue to take the yellow water out of those drivers who look through windscreens with less vision than letterboxes :smiling_imp:

Throws mobiles at you■■?
And you let him? I bloody hope not.
Arguing I have no problems with, finger pointing and gesticulating - again no problem! Objects getting thrown? No way - if that ever happens to me he better pray he’s a good aim because he will be needing his precious mobiles to call for much needed assitance or at least for someone to come and help him remove the device from either up his backside or down his throat (maybe both, I’m undecided yet) :smiling_imp:

Was asked if i fancied days driving in Bridgenorth tomorrow asked who and Clive Cowen was the reply and i remembered this on here and told them
if he treats his own drivers like [zb] whats he treat agency drivers like. I don,t take fools gladly

If it needs doctoring it’s not allowed.L.

See - the backlash has started and rightfully so!!
Blokes who act like that need shunning in general not just in our industry.
