So you want to get rid of some Old trucks?

Try the Exporters, somebody like RC Tuxford, or just stick an ad in Truck Trader or similar.

i got twice stopped by a Black Man,asking me if i would sell him the Lorry
Once in a broken down Daf and once in a Tsco Merc with a Load to deliver. just stopped to ask for direction and first who stopped would have taken it. didnt got his number. Think i remember a HGV Workshop in Cinderford with a lot of old Lorries. When our Sheddon was a week in workshop they went over and had one running in a Day as replacement.

Ebay

Try some export companies. Quaysides are always full of old UK trucks going abroad.
A mate of mine who was driving in Iraq a few years ago, told me he was once following one of our local firm’s old motors still signwritten up, in the desert.

It’s quite bizarre when you travel to far flung places and see a truck with a local hauliers livery, I’ve seen some that still had their UK reg plates, just put the local one somewhere else.

Maybe he wasn’t meant to be there. These cheap sat navs have a lot to answer for!

Wouldn’t have to worry about export as to some companies that volvo wouldn’t be the oldest in the fleet.

Tobys mates at Insight would have your arm off for them!
Seriously thou, ebay would be a good quick bet.

Try a few of the dealers that specialise in export that advertise in the trade press

I can try and put you in touch with an old work colleague who sent them to Zimbabwe. He had family over there and used to turn a good profit on cars and occasionally trucks.

Might or might not have his number. Fleabay is a good idea.

Garretts on the A303 Sparkford

as other drivers have said try exporting companies, india is a good place as they could not care less if the vehicles have MOTs or anything else for that matter as long as they do the job

Yes also TG Commercials Rotherham or Sotrex in Nantwich

Ok thanks everyone will have a look, where are these insight people?

Wonder what the market for autos with euro6 will be in 10 years time?? Cant see anyone from anywhere wanting them? Repair costs will be too high. Dealers wont be offering much as a trade in, if they cant knock em out again; and trucks not “fixable” at roadside aren`t 3rd world friendly. Not much help to OP but just an aside.

Maybe you mean Insight Trans Logistics of Worcester? UK to Spain etc.
