Car transporter companys old and new

i had to show you’se lot a photo of my NEW wagon (so i can go into London),i got it last friday,this was taken on monday when it was off the road all day because of a metal water pipe that was so corroded it had about 20 holes in it.i’m baffled how the driver did’nt know it was leaking???mind you the bottle of water on the trailer was’nt there for f******g drinking.

glenny you should of said this afternoon if you want to go into london that much a would of swapped you motors and you could do all my mayfairs .oh its the wrong colour !

Peter its not what it looks, you know the size of loads our lot build in nissan well this was my back load but i couldn’t get it through the pillars so i had to push it :laughing: :laughing: :laughing: :laughing: :laughing: :laughing: :laughing:

They are not Glendinnings didn’t run any C series without Jennings fitted

Great thread this is. Thanks to all for the great pictures. It reminded me of my happy days at MCD. I was there for 3 years, must have been four happy days in that time. Here are some pictures from North America, where I am at the moment.





Anybody remember Star car transporters from Southampton i remember they were blue with a white star on the door they had Ford D series then F86’s and after that F7’s Dave coombes from Salisbury used to do there fitting work he also did my scanny 110 when i started as an owner driver he did his training at Unit Commercials the Scania agents from Salisbury would be nice to see a pic or 10.
