looks like Tim did a good job of loading those Astra Estates, I expect Glenny was stood at the coffee machine waiting for someone to buy him a drink

he has been retired nearly 10yr now glenny took his bit from the dutchman and started enjoying it.
tony still runs the show though he takes a bit of a back seat now.

As usual the horse has bolted before they shut the stable door, Walon/Autologic have left drivers to there own devices since time began,so its no wonder drivers have been doing non regulation wiring etc. When i drove for Waitrose if u wanted any wiring doing u filled out ur defect book and the workshops took care of it, even just connecting up something simple like ur cb.

Fred Mecro drove for Car Removal & W A Glendinning Ltd, he retired a long time ago and still alive & kicking, his son in law Mick Doddy drove for Autocarriers & Car Removal.He was a driver at Autocarriers then went into the traffic office. Now works at A1 Consett as management.
