Hello 12bore, Gonzo is Phil from Milton, and Lawsons at Coventry and everywhere else he’s worked, I believe he is up north now, did your Dad ever work for Lawson’s at Sheerness?

12bore,i work with phil on the nissan contract at washington, and yes he’s still always winging his way through the week,(only joking!)i’ve worked with phil about 5 years now, first on bmw out of thorne(when heyford closed),then for about two years at washington,i still think he cant come to terms with his drop in wages since heyford.
when i get back to work i’ll tell him a bloke with a12bore is looking for him, that’ll give him something else to worry about.

Hello Mark, not sure where the cafe is, maybe we should put it on old time cafe thread, I remember Derek Skuse had one of those Guys, the only time I went in one was when he gave my Dad and I, a lift down to Baginton, as I remember the air cleaner was under the passenger seat. Cliff

Thanks Oiltreader, I’ve been trying to remember the name of that cafe for years, been in there many times, in the 60’s and early 70’s so it was where the M11 meets A406.
