I will be heading to banbury from cannock later. is anyone aware of an ideal free parking place for hgv with somewhere to eat close by?

Right by Kraft foods on the main road is an ind Est. There s a Mcd’s or a 5 min walk into town. HTH

Orbital way the back of sainsburys there’s a few places to park there also a KFC and a pub 5 mins walk

Got a funny feeling the OP meant somewhere close to Banbury. If he’s starting at Cannock theres a fair chance he know places there.

Don’t know if this is any good[someone will correct me]been finished 11yrs but you used to be able to park in the town by the cross with a good pub nearby.

Park in Thorpe Road Ind Est, near 3663 - or whatever its called now. A 10 min walk into town or a couple of eateries back towards the motorway junction.

Naa, don’t know anywhere in cannock either, new to this tramping lark. I would prefer to be at least on my way to Banbury when I stop, but it’s not overly important. I just don’t want to be driving around all evening looking for somewhere.

As someone said, Thorpe Way Ind Estate, cross the road where there’s a Toby Carvery.

Na, silly arse stopped at services for kfc on way incase I ended up in middle of no where. Gutted! Massive Tesco here too. Oh well, breakfast is sorted B-)
