That warm yeasty smell isnât too bad, though Iâm not keen on marmite.
The brewery probably adds to the smell too.
How about coming down from Nottingham A42-M42 during the summer when the fields have been ploughed and fed with slurry.
Absolutely godawful smell, a mixture of warm sick and rotting (edit) â â â .

Three Pigeons was closed for refit that was taking ages, although I think itâs done now. I didnât know lorries could still use the bus station now most of it is a shopping centre?

I donât know if anyone runs into Banbury from Oxford and uses the layby/pub at Sturdysâ Castle, but itâs closed for a refit. Not before time, the place has been rough for ages.

The one I remember round by the town centre park was The Woolpack (I think 
) a cracking meal and pint, but that was even longer ago than dave is on about.
