That warm yeasty smell isn’t too bad, though I’m not keen on marmite.
The brewery probably adds to the smell too.

How about coming down from Nottingham A42-M42 during the summer when the fields have been ploughed and fed with slurry.
Absolutely godawful smell, a mixture of warm sick and rotting (edit) ■■■.

i think the pub your’e on about is the Three Pigeon’s. you could park behind it ,accessed via the bus station ,good grub and ale.

i think the pub your’e on about is the Three Pigeon’s. you could park behind it ,accessed via the bus station ,good grub and ale.

Three Pigeons was closed for refit that was taking ages, although I think it’s done now. I didn’t know lorries could still use the bus station now most of it is a shopping centre?

I don’t know if anyone runs into Banbury from Oxford and uses the layby/pub at Sturdys’ Castle, but it’s closed for a refit. Not before time, the place has been rough for ages.

The one I remember round by the town centre park was The Woolpack (I think :unamused: ) a cracking meal and pint, but that was even longer ago than dave is on about.
