If you can send the footage to Warburtons they will not be impressed and am fairly certain they will take action if the driver could be traced. They take bad driving seriously, I think most if not all have got on board video, but your incident will have been recorded over by now.

First off I’m not going to report the driver I’m thinking of, just wondered if it is submisable as evidence that could be used to convict? I’d just pulled out of Newark Cattle Market on the A46 heading for the A1 and a [zb] in a ridgid cut me up where a dual section turned into single carriage way, braked, then a Warburtons ridgid (I didn’t even see him as I was braking for the first prick) overtakes me on the chevrons causing an oncoming artic to emergency stop. He flashed him and I blasted him, but in all seriousness he deserved a good a kicking and stripping of his licence because he could’ve killed someone driving like that. And of course because you’re a good driver and was approaching a speed limit change and a lane closure you looked in your mirrors, saw this was going to occur, gave way to the vehicle overtaking you as the highway code required and adjusted your speed so they could get back in instead of keeping your foot down so you could generate some dash cam footage?
Oh wait, you didn’t. Looks like there were three pricks involved in this scenario, not just two.
Gotta hand it to you, you’ve lived up to your birth county and come across as a proper Yorkshire dickhéad. Well done you.
Tris:
Nah, can’t be arsed with the hassle,
Should have thought that before posting not very good responses for you really

Water off a ducks back. When you see the names of the nippers it’s just the usual suspects looking for a reaction.

Normally agree with what you say Conor, but that is duff info regarding the highway code.
Responsibility in the eyes of the law rests entirely with the vehicle doing the overtaking to ensure the manoevre is completed safely.
Rule 167 is applicable here, particularly the ‘DO NOT’ relating to overtaking where the road narrows. Notice also how rule 168 talks about maintaining a steady course and speed if being overtaken, slowing down if necessary, which is what the OP states he did.
Not sure how any blame can be portioned to the OP if his account is correct…

You could’ve been toast.
Muffin to get upset about
Should’ve been an early riser
Probably rushing home to get to his bit of crumpet…
Just got to roll with it.
Butter not add anymore jokes…
