First off I’m not going to report the driver I’m thinking of, just wondered if it is submisable as evidence that could be used to convict? I’d just pulled out of Newark Cattle Market on the A46 heading for the A1 and a ■■■■■ in a ridgid cut me up where a dual section turned into single carriage way, braked, then a Warburtons ridgid (I didn’t even see him as I was braking for the first prick) overtakes me on the chevrons causing an oncoming artic to emergency stop. He flashed him and I blasted him, but in all seriousness he deserved a good a kicking and stripping of his licence because he could’ve killed someone driving like that.
Show the clip Tris…
Sounds very familiar to situation that happen to me a few weeks ago, whilst I was out and about with me kids…Warburtons lorry nearly ran us off the road, Driver cutting across 3 lanes on the Shepherd and Flock round about in Farnham…
You should not expect too much from cat C license holders.
Always a tricky one Tris, is it really worth it, is your own driving above reproach, was there really that much danger.
What really pulls my ■■■■■ is youtube drama queens making a meal of or creating situations for their own ego.
Please post the footage so a full and proper judgment can be made…

Can’t post it as its on the company dash cam, so can’t access it. I’d like to see the footage myself. As to the danger both myself and the oncoming artic driver thought it was dangerous by our reactions. If the old bill had witnessed it I can guarantee he’d have been in court for dangerous driving.
Prosecution is up to the CPS.
The police present the evidence and facts then it’s upto the CPS if the feel a case is to answer.
report it to your Co. Let them deal with it

I doubt the police would be interested if it was a relatively minor traffic offence, but in a serious incident of course they would use your footage as evidence; I believe quite a few people have been convicted on the strength of dash-cams.
If you really are incensed at the way someone has driven and put your own life in jeopardy and the vehicle is sign written, send the video to his boss, his boss may be sympathetic with you and tell the driver to calm it down, but he may just delete it and tell you to zb off. Send the video to one of the YouTube channels such as “Britains worst drivers” or “HGV dash Cam”

Nah, can’t be arsed with the hassle, the less contact I have with the office the better.

Agreed, its another case of moronic drivers at play. If though, this display of stupidity caused an accident then the fuzz would be very interested.

Artic drivers are even worse drama queens than cyclists, would be good if the other driver had a dashcam also and posted the footage.
Sounds like a common expected hazard though, something the group of pro drivers involved should be able to sort out themselves. Probably by pulling over and giving each other a good ■■■■■■■, now that I would pay to see.

I definitely wouldn’t make a song and dance about a video I had not reviewed, it may not have come out as you remember it. So many of these videos seem to back fire on the person doing the complaining.
I am curious how these company dash cams work, would it be possible for you to copy the card before the end of your shift ? if something big had happened I would definitely be wanting my own copy. And do these company cams have like huge memory and store your whole weeks driving ?
They might be interested! Remember the guy who took my run on Saturdays after I left and the dashcam footage of him forcing 3 cars to evasive action went on the web? I heard he lost his licence for that!

Sounds to me like you were dawdling.
One rigid maybe. But two rigids in that 150 yard section before the lanes merge?
■■■■■ please.

I wasn’t rushing. Always drive a bit more carefully for the first few minutes when I start the day to get back into the swing of it. They were both driving like côonts.

barring those who only hold cat C1 I think you will find all hgv drivers are cat C licence holders, even yourself Eagerbeaver

And of course because you’re a good driver and was approaching a speed limit change and a lane closure you looked in your mirrors, saw this was going to occur, gave way to the vehicle overtaking you as the highway code required and adjusted your speed so they could get back in instead of keeping your foot down so you could generate some dash cam footage?
Oh wait, you didn’t. Looks like there were three pricks involved in this scenario, not just two.

It was probably Sly Stallone. Hes not used to driving on left.
