No trees there now cc.The council cut them down after finding out that it was a night time meeting place for shirt-lifters.A big write up in the local papers about it.

image hosting 10mb limitgel Waters aka copycat poses with his Scania CC did not take this shot .
Nigel with his name on the front of the truck…A pal of mine read that in Europe ,if you drive a truck and you want to meet ■■? another trucker of the same ■■■ you put your name on show ie. in window or on front of cab.i see you have the rather fetching curtains in the cab,thats a bit of clue. Pray tell.

A little bit of history about the Rosser Pontlliw AEC HTG 183D.Was new to Valley carriers then bought by Oconnor and Davies of Llanelli along with a 60 ft flat trailer to carry pipes for building Llandarcy oil refinery.

Rossers had a Mandator that was ex Cyril Williams Brynmawr AEU…C ? Shunting between the docks was all they seemed to do in the final years , regards Keith .
