Busy Mr Trump

More justifiable observations, rather than childish language I would say.
Nice try though.
:joy:
At least this time you did not readily refute anything, so maybe a bit of penny dropping and self realisation at last eh?
:joy:

When you tell the voters that China has infiltrated the electronic voting system but they believe Biden that it’s not connected to the internet and they prefer Communism anyway.

I’m sure that any self respecting Bolshevik from 1917 would have recognised all those traits and a few worse.

Ey up! Is the fascist git getting the boot from DOGE or is he leaving to save his Tesla cars, Tesla sales results are waaaaaaaaaay down in Q1 compared to BYD who sold over 1 million.

Looks like Trump is no fool.when it comes to Starmer.
His u turn on his initial opinions on Trump has not fooled him either.
Starmers crack down on free speech in this country has come home to roost…
I bet the so called ‘Far right’ (or ‘working class’ as they were formerly known) along with Karen off Facebook doing time for ‘‘hurty words against Moslems’’ are finally having a laugh.

What are you wittering on about now?

Do you actually agree with what is said in that video? That Trump is imposing tariffs on the UK because he does not like Starmer, or thinks the UK has lost it’s free speech?

The same Trump who says he likes Starmer and the UK? “We like each other, frankly, and we like each other’s country.”
The same Trump who is imposing tariffs on every inhabited (and even uninhabited!) countries?

Who has gotten lower tariffs than the UK? Anyone?
Why do you think that Starmer has “been humiliated” by getting the (equal) lowest set of tariffs?

No favourites with king trump, there’s one thing he’s an expert at convincing people he understands, then cutting the ground from underneath them and at the same time telling them they are great
Its like the sting movie the only difference is that it’s so easy and open

He’s put thousands and thousands out of work, he’s bankrupt thousands of small businesses

Trump does prove part of the old adage…

You can fool some of the people, all of the time.

I remain amazed at just how many are still fooled by him
.

Ooh so dominant, so macho, so…Franglais..

I don’t know mate, maybe I think Starmer thought that by cuddling up to him and falsely appearing to actually liking him, after gobbing off about him pre.election,.that maybe he would get away with tarriffs altogether.
Maybe Trump is imposing them but at a reduced rate to send him a messge that he can see right through him…who knows.

Careful, you appear to be implying some sort of credit towards Trump for this,.don’t YOU of all people be letting the side down.

Best be digging out yer irony ometer for that one mate…again YOU of all people coming out with that one.:joy:

So tell us what and how much it takes to import American trucks and cars among other products to UK and Euroland.
Type approval ?.
Import duty ?.
VAT ?.

As opposed to UK Euroland exports to US ?.

It would have been better if Trump had said he regards UK as a rogue state.Being run by a Communist regime standing on a bent mandate of 411 seats for less votes than 2019.

Hopefully Trump will ban the sale of BYD and all the other Communist made crap in the US.The obvious question would be why not.

The same Trump who won in 2016, despite receiving fewer votes than Clinton?

What mandate did he have?

Hmm didn’t people say that about Japanese cars and bikes once upon a time? Look at them now

Type Approval is exactly the same for US as for Domestically produced goods.. There is no penalty nor extra hurdle involved for US goods.

VAT is the same for all similar goods. There is no additional VAT just for US goods.

As an aside…anybody else remember the 70’s and 80’s when UK and Euro cars going into the US had to equipped with extra larger and softer bumpers?
Previously they had rigid chromed steel ones, then as now, more shock absorbing plastic ones, for pedestrian safety.
So, how can the Cybertruck be accepted in the US today?
It certainly fails to pass the UK and EU safety rules. All hard steel angles etc.
Did Musk lean on someone somewhere, even before he got into his present position?

Yep…The downfall of MGBs and MG Midgets.
They also heightened the suspension which made the Midget no longer second to none on corners, spoiled the handling and everything else.

I could never figure out why they did not just make 2 versions, the horrible black bumpers for the US, and the more sleeker chrome ones for the UK.

I used to deliver regular to MG at Abingdon, it was ran more like a family type run firm, instead of a BL outfit, with a good bunch of enthusiastic lads proud of their product.
Shame it closed down.

To be fair we made a big drama of the US bumpers fiasco. There was no rules against proper steel chrome bumpers.I drove a couple of these around 10,000 miles during US road trips on different holidays.
But can see why they needed to give smaller lower car drivers a bit of a chance if hitting or being hit by one of those.
Also no need to affect non US market cars.
