Billionaires profit from recessions, whilst we suffer.
My savings in an ISA have taken a big hit. Hopefully recover in the long term like before. After Ukraine invasion, and COVID
Ooh Hello.!
Well I have now…thanks for the rundown.
According to our very own Political authority and expert, …it’s this…
Oooh you’d just love that wouldnt you, running back cap in hand to the corrupt EU and falling at their feet.
I bet you are nursing a semi thinking about it in fact.
Get yer head out yer smart arse Franglais, re.joining the EU aint going to happen, despite the attempted manipulations over the years.
But carry on bleating as you say…you will anyway.
Well I suppose when ‘Butros Butros Starmer’ sends Brit troops into Ukraine, and it all kicks off against the Russians without any US backing, Pvt Frazer may well be right after all…we will all bef 'kin ‘doomed’.
Putin has already implied he will not recognise any forerign troops out there as peace keepers…dont ask me where I saw it when you inevitably refute that I can not find it.
So bearing that in mind it s all circumstancial anyway …innit ? …Back to you Pvt Frazer.
Yep. Fast moving chaotic markets can make big money for investors. Especially those who have an inside track on what is happening next. …Just like families with money, who have relatives in political power…
Fast moving markets though are awful for long term investment. Money is used to make money by buying and selling, not by building factories nor investing in equipment and training personnel for long term stable jobs.
…Do you mean petit moi?
Well there is one thing for certain,.when it comes to selective reading, you certainly do not read what I post…''but I wouldn’t expect owt else from you '
I have said countless times,.I listen to news from all sources, including the BBC…whether you believe thst or not is matterless to me.
So pipe and smoke mate, pipe and smoke.
Yeah?.. Well I dare say YOU would eh?
You also preferred a world recession rather than any form of success by Trump…
So there ya go it speaks for it’s self.

Despite the fact that Canada is charging the USA from 250% to 390% Tariffs on many of our farm products, Ontario just announced a 25% surcharge on “electricity,” of all things, and your not even allowed to do that. Because our Tariffs are reciprocal, we’ll just get it all back on April 2. Canada is a Tariff abuser, and always has been, but the United States is not going to be subsidizing Canada any longer. We don’t need your Cars, we don’t need your Lumber, we don’t your Energy, and very soon, you will find that out. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!

And they obviously don’t need to drive from Alaska to the rest of the USA either. I hear that extra tolls for USA reg vehicles have been put on that road. There is a ferry service I believe, I bet the owners are rubbing their hands with glee.
Former Bank of England Governor, Mark Carney, has been elected leader of the ruling Liberal Party. Apparently Trump has re-invigorated it after losing ground to the opposition Conservatives. GE due this year.
You can be sure Trump and his billionaire cohorts will be buying up shares like there’s no tomorrow. Next year he’ll fiddle with executive orders, making the markets bounce back, and they’ll all sell, making millions more. It’s more reliable than insider trading.
Well, anything would be better than the policies the orange Presidunce comes up with, The USA must be vying with North Korea now for most dictatorial isolated country.
Yep like you say mate… ‘Anything would be better’'. Like a world recession, for instance, the faliure of NATO , us kow towing to the Communist regime of China, and the US going down the khazi.
Nice one…Got it.
You ever fancied a career in politics?
And as for your ‘Believing Billionaire’ working for the working classes’'.
You have just described every world political and government scenario since the start of the civilised world.
So yeah I agree, spectac stupid.
On Ukraine: J D Vance’s cousin spoke a bit on BBC yesterday. Here is a longer piece form him on CNN.
Sounds a very balanced (and brave) guy.
Yeah, hoping to see lots of this.

Based on Ontario, Canada, placing a 25% Tariff on “Electricity” coming into the United States, I have instructed my Secretary of Commerce to add an ADDITIONAL 25% Tariff, to 50%, on all STEEL and ALUMINUM COMING INTO THE UNITED STATES FROM CANADA, ONE OF THE HIGHEST TARIFFING NATIONS ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD. This will go into effect TOMORROW MORNING, March 12th. Also, Canada must immediately drop their Anti-American Farmer Tariff of 250% to 390% on various U.S. dairy products, which has long been considered outrageous. I will shortly be declaring a National Emergency on Electricity within the threatened area. This will allow the U.S to quickly do what has to be done to alleviate this abusive threat from Canada. If other egregious, long time Tariffs are not likewise dropped by Canada, I will substantially increase, on April 2nd, the Tariffs on Cars coming into the U.S. which will, essentially, permanently shut down the automobile manufacturing business in Canada. Those cars can easily be made in the USA! Also, Canada pays very little for National Security, relying on the United States for military protection. We are subsidizing Canada to the tune of more than 200 Billion Dollars a year. WHY??? This cannot continue. The only thing that makes sense is for Canada to become our cherished Fifty First State. This would make all Tariffs, and everything else, totally disappear. Canadians’ taxes will be very substantially reduced, they will be more secure, militarily and otherwise, than ever before, there would no longer be a Northern Border problem, and the greatest and most powerful nation in the World will be bigger, better and stronger than ever — And Canada will be a big part of that. The artificial line of separation drawn many years ago will finally disappear, and we will have the safest and most beautiful Nation anywhere in the World — And your brilliant anthem, “O Canada,” will continue to play, but now representing a GREAT and POWERFUL STATE within the greatest Nation that the World has ever seen!

Reading that, …the content and the style, the confidence and the arrogance, totally illustrates the reasons why so many,.(especially on here) HATE this guy.
It also totally illustrates why I LIKE him.

Mad as a hatter.
But much more dangerous.
Canadians in US for over 30 days will be required to register with government
Canadians who are in the United States for 30 days or longer will soon have to register their information with the United States government, according to a notice obtained by ABC News.
Traditionally, Canadians who cross the northern border by land and stay for longer than 30 days do not have to register with the federal government, but the secretary of Homeland Security can unilaterally change that rule.
Those who stay for longer than 30 days will be required to apply for registration with the federal government and be fingerprinted starting on April 11, according to the rule, which is expected to be posted on the federal register Wednesday.
Canadians who stay in the U.S. for 30 days or more and were not issued evidence of registration (such as Form I-94) at entry will need to complete the new Form G-325R, according to the rule.

Another reason I like him because he pi55es off a certain type at the drop of a hat.
again, you’re missing the point dear boy.
If I, as a wee bairn old enough to tie his laces but not buy a glass of Samson could plainly see that the racism prevalent in those days wasn’t right, wasn’t fair, wasn’t even logical, then I fail to see why any adult who wasn’t an easily manipulated halfwit could not see racism (and sexism and disablism) was wrong.
I am not judging anyone at anytime by today’s standards, but by those ideas that I’ve always imagined were built into the human soul. Equality, compassion, fairness, decency.
There is a crushingly simple test you can try:
If this behaviour or whatever happened to me, how would I feel?
