It may surprise him to know that I think @cooper1203 might have a point.
But then we both could be wrong.
Stories, reports, like this are not new and I tend to take them with a large pinch of salt.
I seem to remember a tv drama way back in the early '60s called ‘When The Kissing Had to Stop’, which broadly alleged a conspiracy like this in the British government. The doubters began to forget their doubts when a plane arrived from Moscow at Heathrow and spilled out a seemingly endless line of bowler hatted, pinstripe suited, civil servants after an apparent agreement to swap/share with the Kremlin. Only thing was, all those CVs were marching perfectly in step and their umbrellas were smartly sloped over their shoulders.
You did say that.
But you provided no evidence of any misinformation by AP, Reuters etc doing such, did you?
Saying stuff does not make it true.
BTW no one has said that Trump is/was a spy as such. No one would confuse him with James Bond (except Trump himself) But he has alleged links to the Kremlin.
I find it quite easy to believe that Trump does not belive for an instant that he is a spy or any such.
But it is not that hard to “play” some people.
Tell Trump that someone…oh, let’s say a leader of another country… is really a Dictator, and that you are really King Donald’s friend…whisper in his ear that if he supports you then, coincidentally King Don will get some free mineral wealth…
No, Trump is not getting brown envelopes in exchange for details of aircraft, but he is almost certainly doing more good things for Putain than bad.
just go back to the political thread where i debunked all the lies about johnson that you and others held true. where do you think that all came from couldn’t possibly be routers could it?
i will address the rest of your post in a general post on my own views
He’s not fully wired up.
He’s doing the same as Adolf did in the 30’s, whipping the nation up to adore everything he says or does. And Adolf’s strategy didn’t end well
By the looks of it a lefty news source that heavily relies on crowdfunding from it’s followers and certainly not exactly mainstream as in it tends to report stories that other news sources don’t. But totally reliable of course because it’s not a right leaning news source!
For along time it has been considered dangerous by america to have the pipe lines running through russia. for many years it was economically viable to do anything different. Then the eastern block was broken up turkey looked like a good prospect for a pipeline then that went by the wayside. so the next best bet is the crimean peninsular. putin knows this and so does trump. There is also the israel factor to consider. that will take a little more sorting out because of lebanon on one side and egypt on the other. So what is trump to do. scrap the plan that has been going since reagan was president or try and make the best of it.
The other thing to consider is the american finances. ie fort knox etc it may be owned by america but it isnt controlled by america. rothchild etal control it. and if you want to find a russian link to american politics there it is in a nutshell.
do i think trump is wrong for siding with russia or at least appearing to i dont think he has much choice. I dont know enough about the history of the crimean area to judge who was there first. However i get the impression that the ukranians took it from russia.
By the way this isnt the first time russia and america have done a deal. look at the afghan war between russia and afghanistan. The americans were supporting the afghanistans then all of a sudden withdrew support. That was right about the time (to the day) that russia and america called an end to the cold war.
#Franglais Thanks for the benefit of your knowledge of how the US and the CIA works, sometimes you even put Carryfast to shame with the wealth of your fountain of knowledge.
Also 10 out of 10 for managing to shoehorn Boris into this in order to continue your diatribe of hate for him of old…it’s been a while, you must ferl better after it.
.As for this latest little gem…
Your delusion is legendary on this forum already, along with a penchant for believing selective official narrative.
It seems now also susceptibility willingness and almost utmost desire to believe anything thst fits your politics, your views, and your grossly misguided agenda has also become glaringly obvious on this particular thread.
I believe the theme of it has developed bizarrely from untold disproportional hatred towards Trunp, akin to metaphorically chasing him with pitchforks through a medieval village (with you leading at the front) to the point of getting it bang up to date with espionage spy fantasy movie stuff…
However I stop short of seeing YOU as James Bond…more Mr Bean with a toy gun.
I think I will just sit back on this for a bit and observe just how much hatred develops the stirring up of pure fantasy.
So what comes next ?
I shudder to think…
Is Trump actually an alien, what about a time traveller, …Hey he’s been likened to Hitler,.maybe it is him, come to the 21st century not in a De Lorean this time,.maybe a specially designed
WW2 Kubelwagen designed by not Doc Brown off Back to the future but Doc Goebbles …or in one of those smart black 6 wheeler Mercedes staff car jobbies with a rocket attatched.
Nah those two concepts are just too tridiculous for words eh?
(Where as the President of the United States being a bonafide Russian Spy…ISN’T )
This is comedy gold with loads of milage abd material keep it up…its better than watching the football which I had planned in the pub today…which in fact I may give a miss instead…NOT.
Given that you in particular are that far gone with brainwash and virtual indoctrination, I look forward to a bit of entertainment with more frystration bile and fantasy.
Carry on.
“being an asset to russia” means that you are useful to russia.
Donald Trump was cultivated as a Russian asset over 40 years and proved so willing to parrot anti-western propaganda that there were celebrations in Moscow, a former KGB spy has told the Guardian.
From the independent, over 4 years ago
Not a spy, but a controlled puppet imho
But more this?
Donald Trump spying allegations: more likely useful idiot than Putin’s agent
Not exactly, the Soviet Russian leader at the time, Nikita Kruschev gave it to Ukraine, I’m not sure what his reason for doing so was but I think his wife was Ukrainian and he himself might have had relatives/ancestors from the region. I wonder if anyone has asked his grand daughter who is a professor of something or other and lives in New York I believe.
Before it was Russian it was Turkish and before that the Mongols had control of it, but I always thought of it as Russian so didn’t object personally when the Russians took it back in a sort of bloodless coup so to speak. But, whatever the historical story, there is no excuse for the current Russian invasion as Russia and others guaranteed Ukrainian sovereignty and independance back in the early '90s in return for relinquishing the nuclear weapons on their territory. Just goes to show that merely Russia’s signature on a document is no guarantee that it would be honoured. The French used to call Britain ‘Perfidious Albion’, not sure what the justification was but this goes way beyond.
But what it boils down to is an attempt at colonial re-conquest, a bit like if Britain re-invaded The Republic of Ireland, or, more to the point as India seems to think it ok, the old colonial power attacking them. IMO India must bear the shame for such a lack of principle.
You can post up as many Franglaiesque type links as ya like…I still aint buying it.
And just to reiterate (once again ) to avoid the obligatory flak…
I aint a Trump ‘fan boy’ despite my defending (term used very loosely) on this thread, I realise he is egotistical, I realise he is a bit of an unpredictable ‘off the wall’ maverick (which admittedlly appeals to my nature) I realise he can be a bit of a clown, even potentially dangerous, I know he aint everybodys cup of Ty Phoo…
But a sleeper spy, a guy in the pocket of Putin, an ‘asset’ to Russia…
Nah.
Personally, I don’t think Trump is/was a spy, he’s to much of a narcissist and not smart enough to be an active operative. These two characteristics, in combination with Trump’s lust for power and money, makes him an easy mark for Putin’s exploitation. To me that makes the accusations possible, but I do noy have enough confidence to make a statement to that effect.
Simply making statments about parallels in behaviors, strategies and ambitions, of Trump and Hit ler is a long way from calling Trump a N azi.
So to re.cap…First Trump is a secret agent for Communist Russia…now he’s a rabid Nazi.
A bit fickle in his political leanings eh?
This thread is getting more ridiculous and bizzare after every hate post…I may even have enjoyed it if it had been a lot closer to home about Starmer, who appears to be getting a free ride on here.
Anyway I have got to say…there is NO way in hell Trump is a Nazi or has ANY Nazi aspirations.
Kin ridiculous accusations man.
So to move on…
Latest news his ego has urged him to get a statesman like portrait painted to hang in the Whitehouse.
