Afghanistans promised resettlement for helping usa during war left to wait longer as trump blocks process
The genuine Afghan guys who helped the US and British forces should be given permission to stay in the US and the UK along with their wives and family…it’s a no brainer, they deserve homes over there and over here (oh Jeez my perceived racism slipped a bit there )
These people are genuine refugees and should be made welcome.
In our case send back a couple of thousand freeloaders to make room.
Nothing like a bit of classic stereotyping of people who voted for Trump.
I’m sure there are some of those people amongst his voters. I’m also sure there are tens of millions of ordinary working people who can resonate with what he said and what he wants to do, that will possibly help to enrich their lives, more so than previous regimes have done.
Yeah let’s just take millions of people who voted for someone you dislike and disagree with and label them all as “mentally challenged” just solely for that reason.
I’m not sure I’d label Trump voters as mentally challenged, any more than were the German people who voted for the bloke with a funny mo.
There are similarities, desperate people, massive egos and imminent danger.
False argument.
@lancpudn did not refer to all Trump voters.
He did refer to and you quoted it “the mentally challanged MAGA crowd” not even all of MAGA.
You only have to look & listen to the numerous interviews of MAGA people to realise they’re as thick as a brick, besides Trumper said he likes the uneducated. I wonder why.
No his text definitely reads thats it directed at the voters. Maybe it was meant to be directed at me personally but that’s certainly not the way it looks. False accusation.
Either way it’s just a lazy argument, like calling anyone who voted for Brexit, or votes Reform for example as thick or not aware what they are/were voting for.
Okay so a small sample size you may have seen on TV, online or wherever is a generalisation for more than half the of the voting population who took part in the US elections.
What! a small generalisation? I’ve watched multitudes of those types of interviews & these people couldn’t even find their country on a world map.
Yes there are lots of educated Republican voters, The last half dozen interviews I watched with lifelong Republican voters were Midwest farmers, which was eye-opening,
They’re still trying to come to terms with the sanctions trumper issued in his first tenure & had to compensate them $millions of taxpayers money, funny how they never protest at socialising debts.
It’s even worse now since his threats of Sanctioning China with millions of tonnes of lost grain, soya bean exports to China.
China is now replacing USA with Brazil & Russia for those goods, BRICS nations, Canada is the brown stuff up to their neck with their sanctions on China too & now has lost millions of tons of canola oil exports to China which was a large portion of their GDP, Brazil is now taking over that market too.
There are consequences for voting for trumper that the MAGA crowd has no idea of whatsoever. They just hear build the wall, return the immigrants & sanction/impose tariffs on everyone & everything & lap it up.
“these people couldn’t even find their country on a world map”.
Some of them will possibly even die as a result of the orange utang’s intentions for affordable healthcare, but never mind yee haa.
By the same token, all who voted for ‘Brexit’ were naive totally ignorant and uneducated,.and did not know what they were doing…
Apparentlly.
Zero points awarded to the first loony lefty who tells me ‘I get it at last’ or some similar childish retort…as per usual.
Yes.
And his nomination for Health and Human Services Secretary…R F Kennedy junior!
And withdrawing from the WHO.
So with less money to be spent on health care, cutting off from an international resource, and putting a conspiracist in charge of the health of the US, what could possibly go wrong?
You took the words right out of my mouth as Meatloaf sang & I’d score nul points. I’m neither a lefty or a righty, but I would vote to join BRICS if the opportunity arose.
Factually untrue.
But very close to it, to be fair.
49.8% voted for Trump in 2024, so less than half.
(Unlike, 2016 of course when Trump had about 46% of the vote vs Clinton’s 48%…But hey! The US always tell us they have great democracy.)
So your saying your “half dozen” or “multitudes” of interviews isn’t a small generalisation or sample size considering around 75 million people voted for Trump?
Just use your search engine & see, George Carlin summed up the state of America many years ago & nothing that I’ve seen of MAGA has changed my mind.
Think of how smart the average American is. By definition, half of 'em are dumber than that!" - George Carlin
Looks like Trump is making life a tad difficult for St Nigel of Cla…USA.
The Trump administration is talking of repatriating the young girls groomed online and lured away from home by terrorists.
Farage has “rethought” his position on this…(multiple sources)
Just like a dog decides to return and squat at his master’s heels all by itself…It being coincidental that the owner whistled at him.
A Different Bias. Well educated self confessed loudmouth it would appear.
I am not a big fan of Farage or Trump who won a substantial nomination and I guess so will Reform come next election time .
Having a YouTube channel he is never going to be a wallflower.
For my part I don’t agree with everything he says, nor always his way of putting it over, but he is nearly always interesting and does give some background to his opinions.
My opinion of a loudmouth? (You didn’t ask, but never mind!) the “concrete farmer” is one. If challenged on an opinion he just gets gobbier and rudely shuts down any dissention from his view.
