hi tidderson
thanks for posting the photos of brs trucks in leeds the photo of the old fodens in the water lane depot is very good, the parcel depot looks to have plenty of traffic, where did it all go,its hard to imagine the road at the side of the depot was one of the main roads thro leeds to the A62 for hudd/Manchester and l/pool.
thanks again
best regards

Looking for any photos of john j gordon of alloa, he used to have the yard in alva before he amalgamated into the brs, interested to know where any of his trucks ended up like the erf 8 wheeler SL 2345 that he ran
TAG 157 ,driven by the late Pete Bettridge at the Oxford depot , I found a sheet in my yts log sheet showing that on the 21/1/85 I had to go with the fitter I was working with Dave Jones to tow this truck back to Oxford from Birmingham , it was invoved in a rta and had a bent chassis , it was a bit sole destroying because the cab was as it looked there (no rot ) but they just wrote it off .
On the 19/2/85 , it shows in my log book , we had robbed the diff and fitted it to TAG 66 which was rotten but still being used .
This Daf was on the Habitat contract ,then replaced and we used it for shunting in the oxford depot , it was then put bake on the Habitat contract in these colours whilst they were busy , then we had to tart it back up and was sent to Bridgend depot for training drivers for drawbar training .
Oxford contract vehicle for Grimsby fish , not sure who drove this one but I do recall the vehicle .

Hi TIDDERSON
Thank you so much , to see his first truck photo brings so much joy to me , I will go and see him over the weekend to remind him of the new photos .
He has not got long left as his health is poor ,and he tells me the same trucking stories over and over again ,but he has no one to talk to in the day ,so me going round brings happiness .
THANKS AGAIN GOOD BUDDY .
