Brexit stuff in one place [MERGED]

JeffA:
I’ve heard you whining about the “poor veterans” that we could be helping instead of migrants - so how many veterans have you got living in your house? How much money have you ever given to veterans? Let me guess. Absolutely nothing right? Do you buy a poppy once a year and think you’ve helped the cause? Jesus.

So just to clarify, you are trying to draw a parallel between helping a veteran of the UK, who is born and bred here initially and has more importantly fought for their country, compared to someone who potentially has no right to be here in the first place or if they subsequently earn that right are seemingly bumped ahead in the queue for a much better life than said veteran.

P.S I already know the answer.

No, read it again. Great-uncle Maoster was asking Franglais “Why don’t you take a homeless migrant into your home?”. I asked Maoster “Why don’t you take a homeless veteran into your home”.

Y’follow?

And Maoster peed on your bonfire by stating that he currently has a veteran staying with him. But I see you conveniently chose to ignore the point that the veteran has every right to be here as a born and bred UK citizen and the illegal migrant does not. :unamused:

Eh? You really believe he has a homeless veteran living with him?

Not that I need to justify myself to the forum failure but I’ve already stated I have and I quantified it by saying that I know the guy and he’s in a bad place, hence he’s staying with me for a while.

I’m in a different position to you undoubtedly as I’m not a failure living on government handouts as you are so I don’t expect you to actually do anything except snipe from the sidelines as is your wont.

In fairness, Carryfast has been here a lot longer than Jeff and has the “forum failure” title well and truly wrapped I think but I see the point you were getting at.

I’d probably be bitter too if I had been outsmarted by some of the dross of society who know how to play the benefits system while Jeff seemingly didn’t have the nous to do so.

JeffA:

Why would I not believe him? You are just being petty as a deflection tactic because you have no answer and have backed yourself into a corner (not for the first time either I might add).

I wonder what people would actually like to see “Contributed” on here…?

Bit of a tenuous link to Brexit I suppose, … but it’s widely mentioned in the article.
And anything to do with Spoons is always on my radar  …(and if it happens to annoy Frangers in some way as an added bonus, what’s not to like  )

It`s been leaked that Martin is to get a K in New Year honours?
For charity work? Nope, for “services to industry” it appears…So, a businessman gets a K for being good at his job…
Welll…OK…not uncommon.
Wetherspoons share prices took a knock because of C19, certainly not his fault. But they have been struggling since then. And he has shut about 30 pubs, with a further 34(?) on sale/sold.
So could it be the K is for summat else? Political services? I dunno.

As Mrs Merton might ask: “Why is this £50,000 Tory donor being honoured?”

Rather surprised that RR isn`t shouting from the rooftops about the latest Brexit Bonus?

Being a frequenter of pubs and the like I really would have thought that this would have made his day.
Such a victory!

At long last it will be legal to sell wine in pint bottles again.

Again wine sellers will be able to order new bottling plants to start up and make different sized bottles to furnish the enormous latent demand there has always been for 568ml bottles instead of the readily (cheaply) available 375ml, 500ml, and 750ml bottles.

I`m sure that no one will choose to market a pint at the same price as a normal bottle.
.
Will they?

Ah well…I tried to make light, but it seems we are back to serious doom, gloom, and pessimism again on this wearing a bit thin thread…

Good old Frangers eh?.., Not happy unless he’s complaining about being unhappy. :unamused:

Here’s a bit of advice bud.

Ah well…I tried to make light,

Sorry. I didn`t realise that was a funny post.

Ha

Felling better Hun?

Never mind though. This should have RR rolling in the aisles.

Laugh-along-aTory.

Hilarious stuff.

And by the way, here is a another laugh for those who persistently get it wrong by saying “It`s all over”.
Another set of expenses for those selling into the UK.
localenterprise.ie/News-and … rexit.html
Expenses that will inevitably be paid for by the end consumer: you and me.
Even more food inflation then.

Felling better Hun?

I was feeling ok to start with tbh err …hun

I feel fine 99% of the time in fact, …but hey!.? that’s just ME., ‘laid back Rob’. :sunglasses:  :bulb:

As I keep telling you, I dont get petulant when I dont get my own way, but instead just try and deal with sh I dont like, like a grown up.

I dont get OVERLY concerned and disproportionately upset over situations I have no control over, trying to take the whole world’s problems on my shoulders, thus making a fool of myself, like a child…
But hey!..that’s just YOU…‘‘Neurotic Frangers’’.

And a nicely edited video of St Nigel of Bullshine actually speaking a little bit of the truth.

Err ok.

I’m.pretty sure your own personal sense of humour is also politically obsessive as with everything else.
But I prefer to go off the one trick pony route, so mine is much more varied, …but hey, thanks for thinking about me, I’m touched.

Maybe this `un is a tad more amusing?
The UK Gov (Dpt Business and Trade) has cited a business as a Brexit success story recently.

Although Frog Bikes themselves said that Brexit was continuing to cause friction, was directly responsible for £250,000 of losses in just two months, and the company made a loss of half a million quid…

youtu.be/91e6JCC1XBE?si=0y4HeoMJXkeyvAHJ

With successes like that…
Provide your own punch line.

Franglais:

The UK Gov (Dpt Business and Trade) has cited a business as a Brexit success story …BLAH BLAH BLAH .

‘‘Amusing’’ you say.
Let’s think now.

I would prefer to describe it as…Tedious, even boring, maybe.
What about guilt inducing , whilst witnessing somebody continuously, needlessly, getting so frustrated over something he is not pleased about, whilst everybody else who used to share his views and enthusiasm, has just gone home quietly and knocked the lights out.
I say ‘guilt inducing’ in the same way that they used to watch a freak show …whilst enjoying it. …yep I’m starting to feel guilty for winding you up,.encouraging you,.and taunting you. :open_mouth:
It’s at the stage it is no longer pretty to watch.

Seriously mate.all jokes aside it’s the end of another year, we ALL get it , …you do not agree with Brexit…but ffs man, give it a rest. :bulb:

Dont worry Bud. You just keep on ignoring the Gov ■■■■■■■ all over your back, whilst telling you its raining you its raining, and Ill keep on telling it how it is.
Being realistic and open eyed…"Hey, thats just the kind of guy I am". *Is that wasted? You certainly dont get irony do you?*

Still saves the Gov pulling the wool over your eyes at least.

If they arent open youll never see owt!
