Brexit stuff in one place [MERGED]

And there we have it. Wind and ■■■■. Happy to pontificate but less happy to actually do anything about it.

To be fair, you asked him a loaded question. He gave you a loaded answer…

How many homeless vets, who have fallen between the cracks, are you housing?

the maoster:
And there we have it. Wind and ■■■■. Happy to pontificate but less happy to actually do anything about it.

You seem a little confused.
I`ll try to explain.*

I have pointed out that formerly we processed the irregular immigrants more quickly, and so there was no need to warehouse them.
I have pointed out studies that show immigrants in general pay more into the system, and take out less than native born people.
I havent said that private citizens should take asylum seekers or others into their home. You havent argued or shown anything to refute what I have said.

In the past you have said that UK military veterans should be better treated. Something I agree with. But if you don`t have a PTSD victim living in your spare bedroom does that mean that you are the one full of “Wind and ■■■■. Happy to pontificate but less happy to actually do anything about it”?

IMHO calling for the Gov to do their job isn`t pontificating.
pontificate
verb
/pɒnˈtɪfɪkeɪt/
1.
express one’s opinions in a pompous and dogmatic way.

*There, I can be condescending as well as pompous.
Summat else for you to get upset about rather than actually address the issues at hand.

Those illegal migrants eh? They just won’t work will they. Just make them legal - problem solved.

Food delivery companies are being urged to carry out more detailed checks on their drivers, as authorities report a huge increase in undocumented immigrants exploiting rules to work in the delivery sector.
GB News has been told that many legitimate riders will often rent out their accounts to illegal immigrants to make more money.
Tano Grima, Assistant Director at Immigration Enforcement’s Southeast unit said: “There’s a lot of intelligence about the harm that illegal working, particularly in the gig economy is causing. It’s denying legitimate employers and employees their rights, and it’s harming the UK economy by way of avoidance of tax.
“They’re undercutting legitimate employers and they’re undercutting legitimate employees.”

I’ve heard you whining about the “poor veterans” that we could be helping instead of migrants - so how many veterans have you got living in your house? How much money have you ever given to veterans? Let me guess. Absolutely nothing right? Do you buy a poppy once a year and think you’ve helped the cause? Jesus.

JeffA:

  • so how many veterans have you got living in your house? How much money have you ever given to veterans? Let me guess. Absolutely nothing right?.

Not that I have to justify anything to someone who has so comprehensively failed at life that he couldn’t even work the benefits system to his advantage, something that even the freshest Somali who’s only words of English are “Beckham good” seems to manage.

I have one veteran living in a spare room. Granted I served with him and I’m helping him through a dark time, but it could be darker I suppose; he could be you.

And another new aspect to Brexit.
The EU wants to stop London from clearing euro transactions.
.
I imagine some will be shouting about the UK being punished, but there is another way of looking at it.
The EU wants control over their own currency. They want to set the standards for dealings in their currency, they dont want a foreign Gov agency (the FSA) to make the rules. . So, another hit to a lucrative UK trade. (You dont need to love bankers, but they do bring in trade and earn money for the UK)

So you’ve done absolutely nothing for anyone. That’s exactly what I thought. All mouth and gutwind. Just whining endlessly about “The brave veterans suffered for us” and yet you wouldn’t put your hand in your pocket to help a veteran unless someone put a gun to your head. That’s the truth isn’t it - just be honest for once in your life.

You know as much about the benefits system as you know about a “Somali”. Nothing. Go on, tell us again how you get three and half grand a week on the dole. You “know” that don’t you.

Now come on, lets hear you call a stranger on the internet names - it’s the only thing that makes you feel like a man isn’t it. Half a man anyway.

Who’d have thought it eh? :open_mouth:
Let me explain why Brexit is glaringly not looking great.
It’s because…oh hang on a minute. :unamused:

You’ve gone way past the boredom stage Frangers, I’m thinking the lack of the posts on the forum lately has nothing to do with dodgy access, it’s maybe more lemming proportion suicides

Anyhoo keep us posted with numerous more examples, with links to back them up…we all await with bated breath.

:open_mouth: Oh dear oh dear Jeff man.
Bad move.
Maoster and 2 of his mates last seen boarding a helicopter dressed like this

Coming to a field very soon near your back garden. :open_mouth:
Be afraid…be very afraid.

What ?!
Discuss Brexit issues! Here!
.
.
On the Brexit thread**?!**
.
.
What do you expect here?
Not a rhetorical question BTW.

How many times have you clicked on to the Brexit thread and found that Brexit is being discussed?
How many times have you taken the time and effort to post how fed up, and or bored you are with it all?
How many more times will you make the same actions, whilst apparently expecting different results?

Dunno mate.
Maybe up to the 100 pages you are trying to achieve.?
I’ll.let you know anyway.

So long as you`re happy doing insane things, who am I to stop you.

Looking at the loonies keeps me entertained.

WEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Frangers 0
Aye ok,.admittedly childish.
But YOU keep ME entertained…but not necessarily in the way you maybe intend with your Brexit posts and ‘interesting’ links .

JeffA:
wrote another load of tosh as per usual.

It’s okay loser, embrace the feeling of failure. What are you even doing here anyway? Have you ever had a job?

Franglais:
If you care to go back to your source and follow the link that will be apparent.

No thanks, I’ll just crack on with life and make the most of the situation we have been presented with (good or bad), and not waste my time like you do with your continual ■■■■■■■■ or trying to prove that your point of view was “right”

Franglais:
Try talking about Brexit, show me what a good thing it is.

Robroy has already covered this point a few posts up and it’s a point I’ve made myself on numerous occasions in this thread. Quite frankly I can’t be bothered to go over old ground or find what page number out of 96 it is on as to why Brexit has failed so far in my opinion. However, knowing how much it turns you on going back through peoples previous posts I’m sure you’ll find it before long.

robroy:
Everybody else…Shhhhhhhhhhh, just leave him to it, he’s happy.

Sorry mate, couldn’t resist

So just to clarify, you are trying to draw a parallel between helping a veteran of the UK, who is born and bred here initially and has more importantly fought for their country, compared to someone who potentially has no right to be here in the first place or if they subsequently earn that right are seemingly bumped ahead in the queue for a much better life than said veteran.

P.S I already know the answer.

Yep, that is exactly how our Jeff rolls.

DS Smith are offering premium rates via agency for drivers - as they go out on strike.

Trouble is, that other more enlightened companies - will have solidly booked drivers in advance for “Christmas Pressure”, meaning that they are going to have to scrape the bottom of the barrel a bit to get enough bums-on-seats at Dark Satanic Smith…

Imagine what a load of piling-up wet and maybe food-contaminated cardboard is going to do to the Rat population over Christmas meanwhile…

Can’t blame THIS one on Brexit though…

A payrise half the real rate of inflation - has already been blamed.
Since mortgage rates have yet to fall back - it is irrelevant what the “headline” rate of inflation is - merely the sky-high overheads now presenting themselves as monthly bills.

The Bank of England - reckons “Rates are here to stay for some time”.

Gee Thanks, Sunak, Boris, Et Al. We COULD have let “Putin Win” and avoided all this - but no.

We once chopped a king’s head off in this country for “inviting a foreign power to invade us” among other crimes like “Being a public enemy”.
I wonder if the Left will help us dismember the Tories at the next election - without voting for any anti-Brexit party such as Labour and and the Libdems to achieve such?

My suggestion is for people to vote Labour where Labour are first or second in the polls (if you feel you must…) but vote Reform Party where Labour are Third place or lower in the polls…
