Boyle transport court case

There is of lot of rubbish on here about Boyle drivers.the guys done their job not because they loved working for Boyle but because they have families to support. They done the crime and they done their time . But unfortunatly vossa in Scotland didn,t think so .they took the hgv licence of all scottish drivers while the engish and the Irish drivers still have their,s. I don’t think that’s fair. In the meantime pj Boyle and son spend 5 month in prison and their now back in Ireland still making big bucks. :frowning:

they earned decent money for what they did. and how did one or two drivers repay boyles?
by grassing up their colleagues, and employer.
and what good came of it? [zb] all, just unemployment.

I never said that they didn,t earn decent money . If Boyle had owned up to it strait away then none of the drivers had to give evidence. At the end it was pj Boyle and son who were the bagstabbers :imp:

wasn’t having a pop at you mate. just a general statement.

If people make comments they should get their facts right. And the wage was not well paid it was average. Fact.proven by police that the drivers were not making anything out of it. Still have wages slips to prove it

so they broke the law for what reason if not financial ?were they told there employment would be terminated if they didn’t brake the law .or some other reason perhaps .

100hrs + pw at £7.50ph worth it to some.

Preying on euro newbies/wannabes looking for glory.

Yes but done in a sleeket! Way when you could do nothing about it.

Wage was trip money not by the hr come back when u no the right facts

i will ask the question again

correct william so if you get caught doing that what is there to complain about as they say .you pay your money and take your chance

Running bent on trip money is a financial gain to the company. The drivers were told if they didn,t like it they would be sacked, in not so many words. So people still don,t know what they talking about. In one of the paper review it clearly tells you all about it.read it first and then comment :imp:

Welcome to TNUK Inge you’ve certainly come in all guns blazing.

well surely if you didn’t want to break the law you should of walked away . no one made you stay there against your will . :unamused:

Are you looking for sympathy or summit, geez peace :unamused:

No I’m not looking for sympathy . I just want to tell the truth about this case because people are still not getting it.

There are other companies in NI mate! :open_mouth:

It seems that VOSA are the only enforcement for Irish haulage firms then if Boyle is still trading!

I’m certain they will be pulled on a regular basis on arrival in the UK! Same as Nolans, Breen and Balinalard!

Why should we give a [zb]

Drivers worked for a company, ran bent, got caught. The company is still going and some of the drivers got harshly penalised :stuck_out_tongue:
Many did it over a long period without someone holding a gun to their heads or leaving. Running bent on trip money is of financial advantage to the driver as well as the company.

What did I miss ■■

boyle had a very good long run with out getting caught . what part of the story are we not getting ?
