There’s one for you from the 70’s, Lloyds of Birmingham Overland (LOBO), my mate Del Martin drove for them doing M/E, it’s one of his pics. Haven’t got a clue whereabouts in Brum they were, he lived in Sussex (still does) and used to drive up to collect the motor each trip. I hope the pic jogs some memories!.

father worked there for 25 years+(morris) working out of bradley & fosters in darlaston taking pig iron down to fords dagenham and pulling shot blast all over the country from there bilston site later to be called metabrasive now closed . here,s a picture of his old erf after it being in a accident aprox 1981ishhhhhh

Never seen any pictures of Billy Wises motors before, he had quite a big fleet at one time.

Its the first one i have seen Trev, can just remember his old yard in Mary Ann street and his garage is still there back of Brown Brothers,used by Paskin tool supplies until recently

Terry northwood is still going up and down the road a proper driver not many left

Ex T & S Element Bison parked in ARC Rowley, i think at this time all it was used for taking waste out of ARC and tipping it at Tarmac’s tip next door, ( not my pic )

My mate Ronnie Slater (depression) used to work for RK Crisp & drove a Big J on M/E unsure if it’s this one though.

I worked for MSI doing Italy & Germany for 3 years in mid to late 80’s, I have some pics somewhere & post them if I can find them.
