Hi PanchoI worked for them for about 3 years as well, When i started i drove a 142 D668 NOX. Tony did drive E630 SON but i used it a couple of times when hols / service etc. I later drove an Iveco after the scannies had gone, i got lots of photos and as soon as i get them scanned i’ll put them on this thread.
pancho:
Hi bloxotrixIt is a good pic of MSI’s 142, it also brought back some memories for me as i worked for Docker for 3 years.
E630 SON used to be Bobby Shucks motor until Bob had his new 143. I think Tony Whittaker had it after Bob but could be wrong on that ( been a few years ago now). She was a beast, she pulled like a train that 1.
My 142 was D463 OON until i had my 143. I have some photo’s some where of being weekended, normally the Bakehouse or Jayat in France and the picadilly at Santhia or Carrisio in Italy.
How long did you work for Dennis ?
Hi Ttoker. Welcome to Trucknet, great pics. if you look on thread firms around Walsall there are some more pics of Squires transport. PS did Squires used to be next to Wolverhampton truck stop.?

Nice to see one of Sheps motors, remember them struggling up Mucklow Hill when I worked at Colin Parsons in the early eighties

Heres two more from the archives. The first was taken around mid 91 and the Leyland belonging to RH&L Horton of Lower Gornal had just come out from being re-painted.The second dodgy quality photo was taken in May 92 at the Gornal yard of B&G Transport following a successful trip to Truckfest at Peterborough.
I work for B&G and we’ve still got a 113/320 we use it for shunting at the moment
Saw this one on Bubb’s Scrapbook Thread a few days ago now, so hope he won’t mind sharing it with you on here. I was wondering, would it be one of the Richardson brothers who later went into land development in a big way?
big g,i’d say yes on that question.can you remember their depot/showroom on dudley road east oldbury.i think i read somewhere they where a main agent for a commercial vehicle at one point but cant remember who !!
They were agents for AEC and then Leyland trucks.Butlers used to buy all their AEC,s and leylands from them.
