They have about 200 doors and at night there’s a lorry on every door and 2 more waiting to get on , very heck tic after dark…

yes Royal mail big.was working inside for mail sorters about 6 years ago.but i think there just 110 doors.
I think the new Tesco depot at reading must be the biggest single site O liscence 483 vechiles and 482 trailers according to commercial motor be interesting to see where thye drivers come from although we are getting some bulgarian and romainains at a nearby sainsburys rdc
You’d be going some to find a bigger one than Tesco Livingston imo.

Weybridge is going to reading alot of them in the traffic office have been panicing for ages, they won’t be missed

It’s been on hold for ages now, Id don’t mind weybridge good yard and access just their attitude lets them down.
Biggest RDC has to be Tesco Livingston or Goole! Sainsburys Waltham Point is pretty ■■■■ big and very very busy aswell!

Waltham Point was the biggest supermarket RDC in Europe when it was built but no doubt that has been surpassed by now!

The only problems with j11 is when reading are playing at home…
Tesco Livingston is a million square feet, it has a 179 bays with a further 17 scissor lift dock pods for deckers
Tesco goole is 700,000 square feet and as 108 bays

NDC finishes bays at 110, with the rest of them being lanes to park up in. When you arrive, you 'll get allocated a holding bay ticket, but by the time you’ve driven around the building, a yardmarshall will stick you straight onto a dock bay before you’ve had chance to occupy the holding one.
NDC also isn’t in Crick. It’s on the DIRFT site, which only gets called Crick by folk that listen avidly to Stobarts folk calling it that.
I know its not in the UK, but i work in Calgary Canada and I,m a warehouse supervisor are warehouse is 944,000 sq ft and we have 279 bays. If all are trailers were to come home are yard holds 1534 trailers and we use 53ft ones some go out to our customer doubled up as well, we are the second biggest warehouse in calgary . We have just open another warehouse for Target (U.S.A. Company ) on the other side of Calgary and its 1,500,000 sq ft
DSG at Newark is fairly big and spread over 100 acres.
