Are you voting on thursday?

Rat67:
Unless we learn from the mistakes of the past, we are forever doomed to repeat them

Hence turkey like you want to vote for yet another Christmas.

A finer definition of lunacy i can’t imagine than voting for more of the same and expecting a different outcome.

Best thing you can do is turn the propaganda box in the corner off, and stop reading the daily printed brainwashing manual…Guardian Sun Mail Express etc etc.
After a few years your ability to think for yourself returns, bit like when battery hens get adopted and learn to live as normal chickens again.

Getting out of the EU will solve so many problems in one go, like all the many thousands of dictates imposed on us over the past years will become obsolete we will no longer have to follow all of them to the letter, we will no doubt pick and chose what ones to keep and what ones to discard but the choice will be ours, not imposed on us by some faceless morons in Brussels, my little bug bear is my sight is getting bad due solely, according to my optician, be blamed on these new light bulbs that have been imposed on us even though they have been proved to be highly dangerous, if we are not in the EU we can import or manufacture what ever bulbs we want ( with permission of the green party of course). Some dictates we will have abide by to be able to travel or trade in Europe, the rest in the trash bin.

It never ceases to amaze me that some seemingly intelligent people can’t see the difference between controlled immigration and racism

Or is it simply that some people choose not to see the difference ?

  1. Where did I say I was voting for the same?
  2. I don’t watch t.v
  3. I NEVER read newspapers.

And as for thinking for myself…that is EXACTLY what I’m doing, unlike the pathetic UKIP sheep on this forum. And you lot wonder why people think the worst of lorry drivers. YOU are the one’s believing the press bs, YOU are the ones buying this UKIP propaganda and YOU will be the ones who shall reap the rewards when Farage destroys what is left of this country, but hey, what do I know. Crack on boys

Green Party for me.

More investment in renewable energy = less reliance on Russia for gas supplies.

More investment in public transport = less cars on the road = less hassle for us truck drivers.

I personally don’t have a problem with immigration, as long as it is managed to sustainable numbers. Don’t forget, a large number of British workers emigrate to foreign climes every year, abroad and in Europe.

Why do we need ‘investment’ in expensive unreliable ‘renewable’ energy when we’re sitting on more than 1,000 years’ worth of coal reserves.

As a truck driver do you actually realise the Green Party’s policies regarding road transport. :open_mouth: :unamused:

There are thousands of job opportunities and social provision for British workers in Germany at least as much as there are here for immigrants. That’s in the dreamworld that the raving Greens live in.

(1) Racism means attacking people because they are different like Hitler did.

(2) ‘Or’ it can also mean trying to integrate different ethnic groups across national borders.Either in order to rig the labour market in developed economies or on some bs socialist crusade of uniting the world and forgetting about ethnicity and nation and then trying to dress up that integration as so called ‘multi culturalism’ while accusing anyone who disagrees as racist.

( 3) Then there is the difference between federalists and anti federalists.

Farage certainly fits the description of an anti federalist but he’s no racist Hitler.

As for the LabLibDemCon they certainly fit the description of socialists and/or federalists and/or using immigration to rig labour markets and therefore racists based on the definitions contained in ( 2 ).

Milk Man:
For the ukip voters, without mentioning immigration what else makes you want to vote ukip?

For the same reason that I would have stood with William Wallace etc and Michael Collins against the English and General Lee against Lincoln.IE first and foremost I’m an anti federalist.Having said that just like the SNP in the case of supporting EU membership it’s difficult to see how Farage and UKIP can ( rightly ) justify an anti federalist policy in regards to the EU while supporting the continuation of the one that makes up the UK.

UKIP for me , i tried the rest , now i will try the best. Europe can kiss my rrrrs , only good for a couple of weeks a year hols.

yorkshire terrier:
Yes ukip for me,even the local Pakistani shop keeper to me was playing hell about Romanians and poles that are not working and he is voting ukip.
My mate is from Poland and he says they should of put a cap on this immigration years ago because it was way too easy to just come here …
Just last week I was in hospital waiting room with the wife waiting for our baby scan and apart from the staff we were the only british folk in there, all the rest were of east European appearance,so if these people have been here for say five years and worked for 5 years they have only paid in for five years and get the same service as me for paying in for 20 years
I’m all for multi cultural society and have many east European friends where I live, and I get on well with most of the Asian community I come in to contact with but something has to give now…

You’ve hit the nail on the head there. If it weren’t for the recession it all would have been hunky dory but with the fall there were just too many new arrivals competing with people who were born here or have lived here for ten years plus which has bred resentment.

Their hands were tied by Brussels & the Shenzhen agreement or whatever it’s called. Brussels should have introduced a dispensation for a slow down in immigration to halt the lemmings leaping from the cliff.

I didn’t know there was a vote on Thursday but as I’m not on the electoral register, and haven’t been for years, it doesn’t matter anyway as I can’t and won’t be voting anyway.

Where did I claim to be the “font of all knowledge” ? And never been in an RDC in my life

Hi,
No, mate,I wont be voting ever again.

Rat67:
what is left of this country

You said it. And who do you think is responsible for this - certainly not UKIP.

Oh don’t worry mate, I’m totally aware who is responsible, the whole bleeding lot of the trough guzzling gravy-train riding thieves, but I highly doubt UKIP are the solution, they’re a knee jerk protest vote against the resident scumbags who have only dug us deeper into the crap-hole that Labour, and the tories before them, started. The problem I have is that blaming the easy target is one of the main reasons Hitler came to power in the thirties, and we all saw how that ended.
The whole bloody system is fubar’d, but letting one of the causes of the problem, ex-tory ■■■■■■ Farage, into a position of power because he claims he is the answer to all our prayers could, and will, turn out to be one of the gravest mistakes this country has ever made. Don’t say you weren’t warned.

Compared to what this country needs in terms of it’s immigration policy ( IE a citizenship system based on descent not place of birth and the type of policies which Enoch Powell was, rightly, calling for, including one of repatriation based on the above,Farage is way more moderate than that.

None of which would be anything like or have any connection whatsoever with what Hitler’s lot carried out which was real racism. Not the imaginary bs propaganda type so called ‘racism’ that the Socialists and their cheap labour allies like to throw around every time anyone even gets close to threatening their big scam of either trying to integrate the world’s different ethnic populations or importing labour to keep wage costs as low as possible.

Well, it looks like we’re just going to have to agree to disagree on this matter, I’m sure come Friday morning we’ll find out what the country, rightly or wrongly, thinks on UKIP, Labour, Cons and every other party.
