Is he still going? He was on the buses for a long time, I remember many a long hour watching a slide show in his back room!
Another tidy motor from the David Williams fleet
W Humphries & Sons were truck dealers from Fazeley Tamworth who ran this 1963 Foden S21 with Gardner engine and five speed gearbox. This Foden started life for Air products as a six wheeler, it was then converted and the recovery body fitted by Stockport company Owen and Fielding and painted by Bostock & Barsby. Picture taken on the B5493 Ashby road some time around the mid 80’s
Wm Rowe & Sons from Elford Tamworth had a large fleet of cattle trucks working out of cattle markets such as Lichfield, Derby and Banbury, this AEC Mercury driven for many years by Bob Ridgeway was captured on the A38 at Canwell.
Dad used to drive for these…not quite Tamworth but close

I seem to recall 1957 ish
My uncle drove for ? Rowe of Alrewas. The lorries were a GUy flatbed and a AEC bulker this was convertible type. I recall them being blue and red. Nrs Rowe also had a livestock lorry too
