Hi Steve you are spot on with the nickname Albert was a great guy who unfortunately passed away last year, he was real character, one of the old school lorry drivers, do you remember any of the other Wm Rowe drivers?
J Clarke Transport Ltd ran this Iveco Turbotec 220-32 H49 DGS on general haulage and later sold it to Lichfield International Freight Terminal
Wm Rowe & Sons AEC Mercury with 505 engine and Jennings sleeper conversion pictured in the back yard at Elford in the early 80’s. This vehicle worked out of Foseco Tamworth for many years.
