ALDI NAZIS

limeyphil:
if everyone just parks up, and they refuse all the loads, then they go bust.
if they refuse the load, sell it.

Wish that would happen could change the industry for the better over night, but never will.

Just means the company your working loses that contract or job, and be a Q of others willing to do that job.

Job at minimum wage, no overtime will be loads of unemployed drivers willing to do it. We have zero power, because its dog eat dog.

Can never get any type of solidarity when the industry is on its knees like it is, unfortunately RDC’s and others imposing stupid laws will get away with it. Should have been more solidarity and organisation when things where good.

These days it’s the large supermarkets ball and if you don’t like it not much you can do. Common sense means nothing to these people in their offices.

Err so what do you do if you have delivered and parked up on the estate ready to collect from a company on the said estate :open_mouth: or you have made a delivery on said estate and have a part load for the ss :open_mouth: :open_mouth:
BAlls to Aldi i wont shop there again and only have done a few times

Refrsh my memory is it Aldi that makes you unload your own vehicle ■■?

What a disgusting way to treat the PEOPLE ie HUMAN BEINGS who by the very nature of their job deliver the cr#p or goods that they need to sell in their shops in summing up
no delivery to rdc
no goods to store
no goods for customer to buy

BOYCOTT ALL ALDI STORES AND EMAIL HEAD OFFICE TO EXPLAIN WHY

Teapot and kettle? What about the Asda lot on Magna Park , Stop for 10 minutes to look at your map or notes and the security guard turns up . “Can,t park there mate” . They are all as bad as each other.
Had Morrisons tell me the other day that I could start splitting the pallets down while they went for dinner in the canteen that I am not allowed to use . No thanks, I,ll have my break too.

Sounds as if there could be a Human Rights issue here?

“I’m on a legally required tachograph break. Please feel free to call a Traffic Police Officer who will then sign my tachograph so I can legally move.”

As I understand it, a visitor (such as yourself) is entitled by law to use any facilities available to their own staff.

Wish you were right Harry but I cant see it. Maybe you have a point after say 4 hours but it aint worth the aggro. They ended up splitting the pallets while I read my book and got paid for it.

I drive for Aldi at Neston RDC. Been there since they opened, nearly 3 years ago.

I’ll draw the senior managements’ notice to this post next week, I’m off for a few days at the moment.

I’ll also find out the full SP about the reasons for the parking ban on the Industrial estate around the corner, but from what I’ve heard in the past its the usual story - the few spoiling it for the majority.

  • I’m not a ■■■■, by the way, and neither are any of my KAMERADS in the Transport dept. …

We are sending in Lance-Corporal Jack Jones - just to make sure

“They don’t like it up 'em!”

Deeside,It is unfortunate but the way they wrote that letter which was posted on here, is showing them to be insensitive, and irresponsible ,with no thought for those whose job it is to deliver safely and prompt the goods THEY wish to sell,
Which in turn means the less goods delivered , then less profit for the workers
and the owner(s) of ALDI, who by the way are still the Family ALBRECHT;; and they would not like I belive to hear the words ■■■■ as these two gentlemen
Karl and Theo Albrecht,
fought in Werhmacht ; One fought on the Russian front , and the othe fought with Rommel in the Afrika Korps,so please just call those who wrote that letter
stupid , ill-thinking clowns, who will regret awakeing the might of the written word when they get flooded with letters and e-mails , or faxes about the
letter they wrote,

Vill you please stop mentioning ze war!

Re:- the Albrecht Brothers. Not a very auspicious military CV for those two guys then. One got severely malleted at Stalingrad. The other came up against Monty, and the Eighth Army , at Tobruk, where he also got hammered. Still they have been very successful in their business enterprise, so fair play to the lads.  It,s the boss at Aldi Neston who could do with a spell in a Forced Labor Camp. :smiling_imp: :smiling_imp:
I,ve just watched the You Tube link.

As someone who lives in wirral I must point out that the main problem is the “nimbyism” of the local Neston population. Countless letters have been sent to the local papers since the opening of the Aldi distribution centre at the former Marconi site. These people have been responsible for the resulting ban on articulated vehicles in the surrounding Thornton Hough area. Apparently there is now only one way into the area for hgv’s. I believe Aldi are just caught in the middle and have no wish to upset anyone and probably regret moving to the area in the first place!

Hello, In which year do we live, these people who build such RDC in such areas .are not useing there brains, or what brains they may have, Any child could
have told them that the amount of traffic would be such that a parking area
with facilities would be needed, in fact, they must be thick as two planks ofleft remains of haveing been doing the morning abultions, Where can we put our rubbish, and futhermore where do we go to the toilet and also clean our selves, when we wish to do,It is long past the time when Those firms who use our services also start to think about us, or they will reap the end result, and thats life,[/quote
wood, Yes we will have left some rubbish behind; why ■■ ; and also we may have.
  Dunno what happened there?
Pilot error no doubt!

is the one at darlington a aldi , mate was telling me a while ago one of our drivers turned up there early, so they turned him away, so he went back up to r/about, and back round it and parked on slip road, when time came to go in he went down to security but was told he couldnt come in as he was now banned for not leaving aldi property, so they then had to get another driver there to take the load in. not sure if he was told to leave aldi property or if he was told he was just told to leave and comme back at the correct time, but just seems ott to me to ban him
