Just wonder how big a company they are, there were 15 of them weekended at Asda in Corby!!Good kit tough, new mercs, scanias and some Magnuns!!For some reason they have some black trucks and trailers, while most of them are red!!
I dont know how many trucks they have, but they often seem to be seen in large numbers together. While in the UK this winter I saw 7 or 8 of them all crammed in to one lay by near Newark and another 3 or 4 in the next layby. I’ve often seen between 3 and 5 of them travelling down the road together too.

Agromex is one of the biggest haulier from central Poland. They bringing here washing machines from Indesit Bosh etc. Good kit but drivers are paid crap money. If for example you are not good on fuel, let say 28l/100km you get peanuts. Owner are very clever men, looking after kit, yard but not for drivers.

What is the usual method of payment for Polish drivers on international work? Day rate, milleage or a very low base rate with the rest made of of bonuses (fuel bonus for example).

They are paid mainly low base salary, and on top of that milage and then they calculate the fuel consumption but did not take into accountant conditions as weight, wind, etc.I heard they put the norm for new merc about 24l/100km:( how on earth you can achieve that)

+1 yes totally agree- myself have read on polish trucker forum, lots of complains about Agromex! most of young poles drivers who has recents pass thier class 1 then straight away to join Agromex for international truck drivers job as gains some experience.
in some sources that some Polish warehouse assistant or forklift drivers paid better who does go to home everyday and do 40 hourly a week than those Agromex driver’s salary - long period aways from home!

Precisely now why the job is ■■■■…Flip flops now working for nowt helps us all
And we blame the flip flops again, as if we don’t have enough companys paying 7 £/h here in the uk
But orys said the other day that some polish truckers are earning more then us here in the UK, not what betz is saying!! any clarification welcome
Most of the drivers are very young and inexperienced, and paid very very low wages
remember not much comes out of Poland most of there work is out of Austria Germany
Holland etc etc this country is next !! be warned.

So thats where they’ve gone. They used to gather on Pytchley Rd Ind Est Kettering, behind Tesco’s. The council received a lot of complaints from the businesses there that found rubbish and excrement dumped in the hedges around their premises. Not nice for the people who work there, and the council clamped down on them. They still call in there to backload old clothes/rags for Poland.

They only pay £7ph cos they know if a brit wont do it they can get a bloody flip flop to do it. This is where the problem lies its always been the same. If you wont do it some booger will

Isn’t any kind of pay/bonus per mile now illegal? Sure it is as it was to stop firms encouraging drivers to clock up as many km’s as poss which in turn encouraged illegal driving . . . One example of a driver paid per km years ago never actually stopped for 16 hours straight in Europe until he fell asleep killing himself and several other motorists! Problem was he panicked when he woke up !

I’ve spoken to several drivers here in Canada from Latvia and Romania and they were all on milleage based pay. The Romanians for example would get paid a certain amount of money for every 100km they drove. The Latvians would get a certain amount per km, depending on fuel economy. Wether thats an industry norm in their countries, I have no idea.
