Agency drivers blacklist-

Employment Agency Blacklist
I know that agency’s hate other agency’s knowing who they supply etc so here’s something to wind them up as they wind me up with every meeting, without exception.
First, do Agency’s get some sought of tax rebate relating to drivers signed on with them? as I fail to understand why an agency would place an advertisement, taking interviews, promising/lying time-wasting of drivers about work only to have none!

Anyway here’s the list.

Rapier Employment (Reading):
Supply most major company’s in area, but have their own little favourite group of workers, who go into the office occasionally to brown nose to management to get decent assignments (Waitrose, Tetra Pack) if your not willing to be a brown-noser be prepared to get nothing but crap, (Lynx and various office removal crap) also been known to come out with stuff like.
Agency Rep: “we have two runs Saturday, so if you work on Saturday I’ll work their to so whoever finishes first can do the second run the driver with the longer first run can then go home” you then get stuck in traffic due to an accident doing your first run arrive back late only to discover YOUR MATE has done the first run and gone home several hours earlier!!!

Optimum MK: See above brown nosing favourites etc.

Bailey’ MK: Place adverts like, “last weeks top earner £980” you ring about that job only to hear “sorry that jobs a bit slack at the moment” only to see “last weeks top earner £965” in the paper again the following week!

Elite Northampton: Supply Homebase (who doesn’t) and WHReford who rang with work but wouldn’t tell me where the assignment was, the start time, how many days, pay amount, etc until I excepted the job, considering I’d never registered with Reford, I can only suspect that someone gave them my details, therefore breaking data protection laws.

Drivers Connect: Supply MFI/Shrieber spoke to these guys at length about Tesco’s, and informed them that I would not in the least bit be interested in Homebase B&Q etc type work due to nature of getting covered in crap 24/7, they later rang with Wickes. And seemed confused as to why I said **** off.

Red Triangle also know as Drivers Inc Northampton: Supply council, 3663 etc place adverts for Class 1 work but never seem to have any?

Best Connection Northampton: Homebase, Worthington’s brewery, see Bailey’s above. Even the wall plants looked the same!

PSP Towcester: Believed to be the main supplier for Tesco’s at the present time, when you have an interview say stuff like “time and a half after eight”, only you get time and 50p.

First Call Northampton: Tesco’s, Hoyer (Tate & Lyle), see other threads about these folks, basically pay crap.

Unique Northampton: Unique in what you may ask?, seem to have no work at all that’s what!

Taskforce Northampton: Tesco’s (well said he did, never had any) you could also the same about everywhere else come to think of it. Places advert in the paper using mobile (agency talk for) we have got such a bad rep if I use recognisable landline number no one will ever call.

Cab Northampton: Spoke about work, but said that “driving’s all the same it doesn’t matter who you work for” agency talk for, “we have nothing but crap”.

XP Northampton: One of these agency’s that places adverts but never seems to have any work.

Ratjat Northampton: Ditto, seemed to know his stuff about who supplied who, but never had any work himself.

LBHR Northampton: Now call themselves LBHR International, but only ever had van work.

Colwyn Services Northampton: actually enjoyed working for these people, pleasant, never forced nothing on you which you wouldn’t like, (they listened during interview) (+ the girl in the office has got a great set of [zb])

Drivaline Northampton: “Old McDonald was Dyslexic O A E O I”, note the spelling, Homebase etc

Valley Services: Registered after seeing an advert on the Job Centre Plus website, said they had work in Morrison’s failed to mention that it was only a night contract, even after I and some others had registered, some other person in Morrisons had also registered with them because the said they had HIAB work which they don’t!

Which comes to my point, why is it that these firms seem to be able to put anything in an advert, and then horse crap you straight to your face without even giving a flying one about it!
Have words like “professional attitude” in their advert when they themselves wouldn’t know professional if it bit them on the a!se.

:unamused: Sounds right to me Mike, have had plenty of that bull myself several times over. Best connection seem one of the worse for advertising, buit have nothing, only found out after you’ve wasted your time going in to see the dreamers. :imp:
