A religion question for Robroy, but will he give me a straigh

There is a Bible verse that deals with this.

> Sploom:
> If it was Gods will for bad things to heppen,He wouldnt be a good God.I think we can agree on that.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 - “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

At last you agree with us - He/She/It is not a good God.

whisperingsmith:
> Sploom:
> No,its not Gods will, but He allows bad things to happen

Same thing Sploom, if he is Omnipotent - you can’t duck out that easily when it doesn’t suit your ‘Blind leading the Blind’ dogma.

You can’t just have it as God’s will when it suits you & not God’s will when it doesn’t suit you.

The very essence of religious double-think
Either he’s omnipotent, therefore gay ducks and parasitic worms are his doing, or he’s not omnipotent and evolution comes to your rescue providing hypotheses for the existence of gay ducks and parasitic worms. Alternatively, he is omnipotent but he’s a sadistic git at the same time. Choose one Sploom.

Parasitic eye worms

I cant choose one or the other.I choose the 3rd option. He is omnipotent but doesnt stop bad things happening.
So,mankind disobeyed God but God is still required to provide a perfect world for us?
As sinners,do we still deserve to have a perfect world?
We cant put man above God.Everything is for the glory of God nit the glory of man

That worm looks nasty but Im sure it wasnt in Gods original design.God cursed the ground because man disobeyed Him.
He told Adam not to eat the forbidden fruit

Full marks to Adam, many women still complain that men still can’t find it, let alone eat it

I prefer KJV as it is the least changed, with the least “Artisitic licence” content added to it.

I draw attention to the last page of the Bible, in particular Rev: 22:18

“For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book”

In other words, “God doesn’t approve of fake news”.
The prophecies are what they are written as, nothing more, nothing less.
Interpret them by all means, but try to realize as you do that the person writing it all down was seeing it from the mindset of a citizen of a larger Roman Empire nearly 2000 years ago…

He put the forbidden fruit in the garden of Eden expecting two human beings not to eat it then got mad when they ate it?

Then cursed and damned them onto earth. Why did he put the fruit there in the first place■■?

Nasty B ZB stard.

It always confused me as a schoolchild that I was informed that God created Adam, he then went on to create Eve from one of Adams ribs. Together they had two children, both boys……… this is where my pubescent curiosity started with the questions.

Perhaps the wrong question has been asked:

Where did the race neither White nor Black, but now known as the “Indo Semetics” come from?

Adam and Eve are hardly going to be “Proto Humans” like “Lucy” or “Cro-Magnons” - are they?

Sounds like the Garden of Eden was in Norfolk:

Genesis 4:25 states that Adam and Eve had a third son named Seth. That reveals Adam and Eve had at least three sons and one daughter. Then in addition, Genesis 5:4 says they had other sons and daughters.

Haha, youve been waiting to catch me out.I dont claim to have all this knowledge of biology and so on.If the worm existed before the fall,it might have been a fruit worm ,perhaps.

Here is a sermon I listened to about creation. It addresses a lot of tge points and more. Also someone suggested that the earth would overheat like a pressure cooker if there was a huge body of water above ,as in before the fall.
As for God allowing disabled babies to be born,if you critisize God for this, you have also to critisize those who carry out abortions too,you cant have it both ways,or is this too much of a hot potato…
