Most overnight parking fees are paid from the drivers pocket, the driver then claims it back at the end of the week. Some bosses have a limit to how much they will pay back (often £10). Anything paid out over the limit is the drivers responsibility.
Unless a company always parks its lorries in a particular lorry park, it’s very rare that they would have a parking account. So no swipe cards.
Fuel cards in general can only be used to buy fuel.
There are usually various ‘levels’ of fuel card though.
Some also allow you to buy oil and other similar essentials.
Some allow you to pay tolls etc on European routes, most UK toll booths aren’t geared up for this at all.
Some allow you to pay for anything and everything (DKV).
Other than the basic level of fuel card, each level allowed is up to the boss to authorise when setting up the fuel card account.
