Thanks. It was really good fun. Had a cracking two days, Scania really looked after us and made it something to remember.
I was a bit disappointed not to win but I’m pleased with how I did and good luck to Gareth who won.
Nice to meet Rikki too, I’ll have to buy a few copies of T&D next month now.

To quote one of the judges the standard of the final four was as close as it has ever been - to get to the finals is an achievement in its self - to make the final four is to your credit- now the pressure is off you… but Gareth has it all to play for . And the pressure gets ramped up in Sweden

What is the age limit on this? Because I am sure I tried to nominate my mate who was too old at 25

Well done to the finalists though :stuck_out_tongue:

I was there too, guess which one?

Young European Truck Driver of the Year 2012

What’s the age at which you aren’t considered young?

Stan

No-one from GB will ever win the fnal, as they do it in left hookers, the GB winners say yeah it was great, really enjoyed it etc, but ive never driven a left hand drive lorry before.
Well done to the GB finalists thou.

The last lad who went through finished sixth, but the crew there said the European guys practice for weeks, and the format is so different to everyday driving that specific practice is a huge advantage
