Yet more job losses

Wincanton coleford is losing ribena/lucozade contract. After 20 years. With 280 staff at risk of redundancy on 31st December.
Contract has been awarded to DHL running out of Worksop
.
Which guess is good news for ex Wilko drivers but not for the wincanton ones.
Article does say unions are in contact about staff being tupeed over…but Gloucester to Worksop is a fair old commute

I will give DHL 12 months and I bet they ■■■■ it up

There’s already two contracts moving into the old Wilko warehouse at Worksop, Poundland is one of them. So they’re not waiting for the body to get cold

Lads there we’re always spot on getting loaded , can’t remember any long waits ,so feel sorry for them , I would question the positioning of the place though , Worksop seems a strange place to move it too as most of my loads were trunks to middlwich , or is that place closing as well ( sure that was wincanton so assume that will go as well ) .
