WTD for 7 days

Hiya.

Been on a 2 day induction course Monday and Tuesday this week, and I’ve started my normal shift pattern of Wednesday-Sunday today. Can I work all of my shifts, as I would then have worked all 7 days in a week?

Cheers

I assume that the induction course was for the firm you’re working for, in which case the two days count as other work.

So no you cannot legally work another 5 days.

By the way this isn’t about the WTD it’s about the drivers hours and tachograph regulations that state that a new weekly rest period must start no later than six 24 hours periods from the end of the last weekly rest period.

Technically you could work Sunday. If you started your induction at let’s say
08.00 on Monday then you could work up until 08.00 on Sunday but what hours does your job entail
