Hi all
Need some advice
Just found out my boss has applied 4 of my annual leave days as zero hours tonartificially bring me under the 48 hrs avg
These are the first 4 days of my annual leave allocation of 20 accountable days. The next 10 have been applied correctly
Where do i stand
Not your problem. It’s your bosses duty to ensure you comply with the regs and it’s him/her that will face any possible consequences of breaking the rules.
If your employer gives you more annual leave than you are entitled to under the Working Time Regulations (5.6 weeks), then the employer could conceivably set these as zero hour days. If you are part time it is all done pro-rata I believe.

So long as 20 are recorded as 8 hours or 48 for a fixed week then it’s fine
