Do they run class 2’s from Howden? I’ve only ever seen transits coming out of there.
Aren’t Wrens the ones who’s trucks have the toilet picture on the door so it looks like the drivers sitting in the lav having a ■■■■
Yeah that’s the one haha
Wrens operate mainly wagon and drags, they do some artic work between Howden to their factory in Scunthorpe and Howden to their factory, (The Nest) in Barton Upon Humber. Class 2 work is mainly home deliveries and you get a porter along side of you to help with the unloading, which means if you night out, as they do, you get to share your cab for the night which is obviously not every ones cup of tea. Not sure on the hourly rate but I don’t think its anything startling. If your young, fit as a fiddle, don’t mind sleeping in your cab with someone else and don’t mind being ridiculed by the general public for appearing to be sat on the toilet whilst you are driving then go for it!
Lets wait for the low down from the one trip pony/No 1 Agency Driver Conor Turtle
In search of paint schemes depicting drivers sitting on the potty…
I found this.

Where to start?
Wren driver is a bellend for not judging his approach, and pushing in of the slip.
Camera driver could have lifted of when he spotted the wren truck on the slip. Having to brake like that is a sign of bad observation/anticipation. He may not have had room to move into the second lane. The NFT fridge may be overtaking a car or truck next to the camera truck.
And WTF is that NFT fridge thinking of?

Looks like the NFT driver has seen what’s happening and used lane 3 rules to give the other two stubborn drivers somewhere to go when things go wrong.

I think it’s all got confused because the title mentions Howdens. But in this case it means the location not the company where Conor is No.1 agency boy.

Basically it’s my fault!
What robbo99 said. My agency are the supplier of temp drivers for there. They’ll take on anyone who has just passed their test and the rumour mill has it that Howdens Joinery have just interviewed some of their drivers for jobs at Howdens so make of that what you will. Fleet is nice and tidy though although as mentioned some of the wagons have a picture of a toilet under the drivers window so you look a right ■■■ as you drive down the road. I’d rather go home unpaid than drive the motors with that on the doors. If you drive a wagon and drag you’ll go to a Wren store in the area you’re delivering, drop the trailer, do the deliveries with the front box, return to the store, swap the bodies over then deliver what was in the box on the trailer. They do run a few artics but those are mostly doing inter-factory/warehouse runs and the chances of getting on the artics is effectively nil.
If you like doing home deliveries and don’t mind a bit of handball I suppose there are worse jobs out there but if you live nearby and don’t mind travelling 20-30 miles to work there’s a lot better within that distance of Howden if you head west and south.
Howdens, the Company, and Wren both supply Kitchens. Both linked by the same financial backers at some point, both a stones throw apart, most of the older Drivers at Wren got redundancy from what is now Howdens and went to work for Wren. In that community everyone knows everyone, I mean I know Conor, but he doesn’t know me, and knowing Conor I know he will be able to enlighten us all on Wren Kitchens.
Ah that’s right he already has
