Or even a Turkish firm, they get all over Europe/Scandinavia and Russia, where as Uk firms tend to stick to Benelux and Germany.
If the money was right - yes.
But that ain’t going to happen so- no.
Why not, Polish wages are catching up to ours, and in some cases they are better.
But this is why they keep extending to EU. To bring in cheaper labour.
Funny how people can’t see the pattern. Eastern European countries start to catch up with western wages, Then they bring in another lot to balance it out.
It’s just like the slave trade.

I have often spoken with Turks drivers and most of them seem not happy with their salary " too little" around 450 to 550 Euros a month so they have no choice.
I have spoken to the Turks, they are very polite and well dressed, and have no option but to eat out of their trailer kitchens, they always offer you a meal or some tea or coffee when they have all the gas cookers going on full blast, they are good chefs, and collect what they need when they need it.

Same experience here, good lads, they’d share with anyone.
Their coffee will keep you awake for a week, and the tea is potent.

Same here also Iranian are decent people on the road that I have met, too many of them gave me cay (tea) and meals - good memories! happy day
I used to see a lot of Iranian trucks in Italy.
Turks on the road are true gents. In Romania I always parked where the Turks parked & you couldn’t go wrong.
I work for Libyans…does that count?
Well, the owner is originally from Libya…

That’s true. So did I. A lot used to park on the services on the tangenziale bottom side of Milan.
I would purely for the adventure of doing so. Wether any eastern European firm would actually entertain the idea of employing a British driver I dont know. I’ve heared of it happening in isolated circumstances but its definetely not common. I very much doubt you could make a living out of it if you remained living in the UK though.

Yeah small motorway services station in Cascina Gobba - East side of Milan Ring. It’s popular place for Iranian trucks more likely thier meeting point.
