just to thank the nice guy that kindly unclipped my trailer door whilst at uttoxeter services today, luckily nobody hurt or vehicles damaged when barn door flung open on the road
Should have checked that when you didnthe walk round before leaving to continue on the journey and then you would have noticed then problem sorted before you get near the road were you lazy and could not be arsed to walk round was it rain and you did not want to get wet
Wtf?? I was 5 mins going to the loo, why should I check whether a moron had clipped my door?? What is wrong with you?
Or was it you that did it?
No wonder drivers get seen as brain dead ■■■■■ with comments like that and actions like the prick mentioned earlier, absolute scum
Colin Scottish is correct in what he said, a quick walk around check, what if somebody had pulled the pin and the trailer does a Titanic impression on the tarmac, the first thing the boss would say is, did you check it.
Five minutes in the loo, is all it took for the door to be tampered with or it wasnt secure before the stop for the loo, and worked loose
Takes 10 seconds to walk round an outfit just checking for anything out of the ordinary.
If it had swung open and hit someone you would be the only one in the dock. Take some personal responsibility for your life. Yes there are ■■■■■ out there, anticipate their stupidity…
Minger, I’m not gonna have a pop at you, but I’d say it was someone with a grudge against you, your company, or the way you parked. That’s irrespective though, the important thing is to take a lesson from it; it could be your pin next time! Every time you leave your motor unattended check it.
Minger was you parked on the pumps while you ■■■■■■ about■■?
If so justice was servered lol
Was not me that done your door but i have always been taught always walkround the truck even if just left for 1 min so if your to fat a lazy to walk round the truck and trailer and do your checks to make sure its still safe and secure then you should stayvin the yard only takes 30 seconds to walkround

And check your pin too that takes about 1 second, we had a driver stop at Sedgemoor services popped in for some food from the shop came out 10 mins later and his pin was pulled so good job he checked.
So your on about doors … WTF HAS the title to do with doors ■■?

To be fair to him he would rather have the trailer brake on instead of the door-thing. After other comments here I will be a bit more conscientious in future, thanks to the other posters.

I see what you mean… Tiz a bit early for his round about way.
As others said check your stuff it only takes 30 seconds who you gonna blame if ur wheel falls off the leprechauns or squrells for nicking your nuts

Someone may have took a sneaky peek in the back to see if anything is worth nicking.
Carrying a small padlock may help next time
If you were inside having a ■■■■ how do you know someone tampered with it? It might not have been shut properly in the first place and only swung open by chance after you left the services.
Always easier to blame someone else.

Im gonna take a wild stab in the dark at this and say…Because its your responsibility.
Good practice to walk round your truck after leaving it for any length of time, be it 5 minutes or 5 hours. You will learn the art of not only checking your wheels and rear doors but other items like trailer brake and clip.
Course I aint mister prefect to have always done it myself but I aint daft enough to confess a dodgy backdoor incident on here (well unless its got some double entendre possibilities).
Correct your incompetence before its too late…
Because there are a few saddos around who think it’s funny. I hope I always do a quick look-see. Certainly brought home to me after doing a late night delivery to a Tesco store. Having had a break in the canteen, I returned to the car park to find that some ‘lads’ I had seen hanging around earlier had wedged a shopping trolley under the chassis of the trailer. Luckily I was suspicious and concerned about them pulling the pin so and a walk around half expecting to find the number plate upside down.
Oh dear, Minger has been given the full Trucknet treatment here
I hope your having a good think about you’ve done.

Says the one who drove off with back door open, laziness costs lives and jobs
