Working for 2 or more companies, tacho help please

I’m giving up full time work to concentrate on working on my house. It’s December and I have NO heating!

I have a couple of offers of some part time work which will give me 3-4 days a week.

What to as regards tachos?

Obviously I need to keep my 28 days but my question is: What happens when I need to hand them in?

Do I have to make photocopies of my tachos to give to each other employer for them to keep a copy? or do I hand in only the ones that relate to that company.

cheers dears, mucker85

hand in only the ones that relate to that company.

hand in only the ones that relate to that company.

…and inform each company of the work done for the other companies.

Working Time Directive requires it.

If you are self-employed, then you are not covered by WTD currently■■?

I ask the companies to photocopy the discs each week, and keep the originals for min 28 days then hand in.

Not true. Self employed have never been exempt from our flavour of WTD. One of the criteria for being exempt was having an O Licence and most self employed drivers won’t have one of them so the exemption only applied to OD’s.
