I’m probably wrong but if I booked on at 10.30 then worked till 23.15 then had a 9 hr break then booked on at 08.30 then done a full shift would that be a bit wrong can anyone give me a straight answer

There’s nothing wrong with that at-al.
You’ve done a 13¾ hour shift so it’s a reduced daily rest no matter how much rest you have, you’ll be having 9¼ hours rest so it’s perfectly legal to start a new shift.

I make it a 12¾h shift but either way it’s still perfectly legal to take the 9¼h off and start again.
