I get £30 allowance so I get whatever costs £29.99 then when they fall apart after two months I get another pair for £29.99 and so on.
I did ask if I could buy a £60 pair of CAT boots which I’m fairly certain would’ve lasted more than the four months the two £30 pairs lasted but got told I’d only get £30 back.

I’m currently in some Dunlop’s bought from sports direct. They’re very comfy and are standing up to building site type work very well. Sports direct have a good range and at a good price.
Other than that amazon has loads of different makes but you obviously can’t try before you buy.
I’ve been buying these for years. They normally last around a year, not bad as they cost less than £25. Don’t need much wearing in either. I’ve bought boots for twice the price before. They don’t last any longer and for the 1st hour or so, you can hardly feel the pedals when you’re driving
I had been wearing a pair of Baco kevlar aircraft industry safety boots for the last years that I was driving.
Light and comfortable but apparently fairly expensive, mine were a freebie from a contact at Airbus in France.
They looked like modern hi top trainers.
Got these recently.
As im just a box jockey nowadays these seem to be ideal, they are comfy and dont look like the typical boring black safety boots/shoes.i wanted a pair of skechers safety shoes/trainers but they are only in the usa and it worked out well over £150 delivered to the uk.
I’ve bought cheap cheap safety shoes in the past and they are agony after a while so after some research I’ve gone for these. My Doc Martin boots are in the truck for ■■■■■■ sites.
