I remember driving about 10 miles north of Folkstone and seeing signs saying ‘Drive on the left’ … bit late by then don’t you think ?

They make you share with whoever you are with, good result if you are a solo driver. the cabins are as clean as your truck. The duty free is only open at night. I wouldn’t want to eat in the restaurant, you can find decent food within a couple of hours of the ports.
I missed the ferry by 2 minutes after being held up on the A2. It was the night the yellow van fell off the deck, if I had been on time it could have been me.

Do insist on reversing on, it will help you no end when you dock on the other side. The onboard Routiers restaurant is on deck four, and the disco bar is on deck two. Have a good crossing.
Oh, and see if you can get yourself one of those 'Alle’z via Woolwich’ stickers to bung on your front bumper .
