for the last month or so kerrys been on a real economy drive due to the CREDIT CRUNCH , saving every penny possible as the world might end next week , havent been out for a drink, had a takeaway for a month .
walked everywhere to save on fuel .
we might not have jobs next week, roof over our heads, food on the table.
its even started to get me worried.
then today she commes back from saturday shopping with her sis to tell me not to plan anything next tues as ive got to take her to pick her NEW CAR up.
i guess shes changed her plan and decided to spend her way out of oblivion.
ill never understand women
I’m sorry mate but thats funny.
Enjoy the new car.
We’ve been on a major economy drive too but succumbed to temptation and went to pick up another vintage tractor yesterday.
Yep I don’t get them either.
I put the central heating on yesterday, she goes on about it costing money.blah blah.
Next thing I know she’s sitting in front of the electric fire with both bars on cause she’s cold. , while the heating was on.
My suggestion to her that prehaps putting on a jumper was met with, well let’s just say the brusiing around my right eye should have gone by Monday morning.
I dont understand womans logic either
But is the new car more fuel efficient cheaper to tax and insure more economical if yes then that might be the answer
Enjoy the new car though
the two words just don’t go together
don’t worry about it ady1, as my old man used to say;
you’ll never understand a woman as long as you have an hole in your arse

Come on a woman bought it, The answer to those questions must be no.
Bet she likes the colour though cause it matches her hair
Ducks for cover.
I know exactly what you mean
A pet rescue got donated a sack of dog food and wanted it collected and dropped at their place, Lucy Offered to drive up 40 plus miles to collect it and deliver it a couple of miles down the road, then drive home…
Despite how many times I told her that it would cost more in fuel than the sack of dog food was to buy , and it would be more cost effective just to send the money up for a sack from the local pet food supplier she just would not concede that it was a bad idea
(I didn’t go in the end.)

I think it was because he got a job lit of black paint cheap , so black was the only colour available, like it or lump it.
Apparently at the time only black paint dried quick enough for his new fangled production line!
Or is that an urban myth?

Hi knight, it seems you’re right mate…
Wikipedia:
By 1918, half of all cars in America were Model T’s. However, it was a monolithic block; as Ford wrote in his autobiography, “Any customer can have a car painted any colour that he wants so long as it is black”.[13] Until the development of the assembly line, which mandated black because of its quicker drying time, Model T’s were available in other colors including red. The design was fervently promoted and defended by Ford, and production continued as late as 1927; the final total production was 15,007,034. This record stood for the next 45 years. This record was achieved in just 19 years flat from the introduction of the first Model T (1908).
