Hi guys, started my new position at Wincanton on the future drivers program, my first day of employment was my first day of my 2 week training and test.
Passed my 3a and 3b first time so I cant complain at all!!
With being on the scheme the catch is i have to stay with them for 24 months to get the full training for free(I would have done this anyways to get experience on my CV)
Apparently I have a good contract, 4 on 4 off days trunking Heineken from brewerys to RDC’s
Anyone other drivers been through the Wincanton future drivers program or any current Wincanton drivers at Wincanton?
Better yet any general tips for new drivers from experienced drivers? I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous because I know my training and test is only the tip of the Iceberg and I know absolutely nothing yet[emoji28]
Still waiting for my mod 4 to be booked(getting paid in full) but am itching to start driving!!!
