Will Nicola have another shot?

Nicola Sturgeon must have suicidal tendencies 'cause she’s lining up to have another go for Scotland to go independent ! Would anyone honestly vote now to join a dying decaying EU, it won’t be long until the Dutch, Danish, Swedes and Frogs start clamouring for an exit referendum and that French Bird Marine La Penn is already flying the Union Jack on her web site ! The Scots should be thanking us English for getting us “out the ■■■■, off the hook” so to speak the World will become our Oyster once more. But I suppose it’s a case of “Whatever they English do we’ll de the opposite” regardless . Time will tell I’m certain ! Cheers Bewick.

The remain campaign was always going to keep the Sottish question in reserve to fall back on.Given the weakness and backtracking among the Eurosceptic Cons and their non negotiable Unionist position, which puts holding the UK together above Brexit, the odds are they’d rather find a way to stay in in that case.Or at least delay Brexit to the point where it effectively becomes meaningless. The latter seeming to be where we are heading in that regard. :bulb: :unamused:

Leave it out Bewick. There’s a good chance that she will call another Scottish independence referendum to keep Scotland in the EU.The big question then is will the ideologically Unionist Conservatives put the preservation of the UK above Brexit.Feel free to believe that they’ll prefer to let Scotland go than to keep us in the EU in that case. :bulb:

Good old Nicola she always knows how to make me cringe, she wants to be part for Europe but wants independence from the union? She wants the freedom to make laws for Scotland which Europe could veto? Or does she really just want a seat in the European Parliament after she has done her best to scupper Scotland’s future?
I am sorry but you can’t have a referendum every year until you win one except the majority of Scots want to stay together and crawl back under your rock with that mono brow and your pal Fishy (Salmon) oh she really makes my blood boil but I hear she speaks highly of me too!

Have they noo a wee sniper up there wi’a nice little rifle wi’a a bullet wee her name on’it, Buzzer.
PS. wonder if the Scottish fishermen want to stay in ?

I am glad it’s not just me that thinks that way as I have started to think that I am getting grumpy in my old age ( I’m 43 soon but you know what I mean ) when it comes to Nicola I start sounding like Victor Meldrew

It’s not up to Nicola. Westminster has to call a referendum and I believe the last one was billed as ‘once in a generation’. Simples!

That’s it then its not happening and she will grow old and her ■■■■■ will heal over and hopefully her mouth before that.

Just as long as she realises independent means stand alone , no hand outs no concessions , stand on their own two feet and I for one will be happy with that

I voted ‘YES’ in the Scottish Referendum, I voted ‘LEAVE’ in the EU Referendum.
I voted ‘YES’ because I want my country to be Independent, I voted ‘Leave’ because I want my country to be Independent.
An Independent Scotland means to me to be just that, Independent!
Sturgeon doesn’t get that.
She is fond of uttering ‘Most Scots want…whatever’! She does that without asking them.
I saw some figures in The Herald (Glasgow) today, apparently 2.6m voted to remain, and 1.something.m voted leave.
2.4 Million Scots didn’t vote at all this week, Sturgeon should be wary of them…
Therefore how does Sturgeon know what they want?
If she think people like me will support Indyref 2 to drag us back to the EU, she’ll need to do it without me.
I suspect she will have to do it without a lot of other ‘YES’ voters too.
She’s not known here as Frau Sturgeon for nothing!
And look how shaky Frau Merkels job now is.
Another thing she said this week is that the Remain vote in Scotland was ‘Unequivocal’, in that case she will have to admit the 55% ‘NO’ vote at the Scottish Referendum is also ‘Unequivocal’.

Alex

What independence are they going to get none they’ll just switch rule from westminster to brussels so where exactly would there independence be. She’s a muppet of the highest order. She was told last time by the eu that she wouldn’t be able to join. Nothing has changed in that respect scotland isn’t a member of the eu the uk is and the uk voted to leave so the scots will have to go through accession they haven’t got the economic power to stand on there own 2 feet and they do get a dam good deal now from westmister. If they leave then there taxes will go through the roof as will prices and interest rates ad they will have to have there own currency which will not have advangates of sterling

Let the Scots have their independence and be self sufficient with no aid from England. Hadrian had the right idea, pity he didn’t use more sand and cement, let Jimmy Cranky have her day.  :stuck_out_tongue:

You sound like the voice of reason Alex. why would Scotland choose to “fight for Independance” from the UK, then hand it over to the unelected faceless beaurocrats of Brussels?
It just doesn’t make sense. Good luck to the Scots, you have a dilemma on your hands.
