The reason I tryed to get as far as possible was because the gaffer said he could send somebody to meet me, but it’d take somebody over an hour to get here from telford and the same for me to get back so I told him not to bother. I’ll take the night out money instead.

If you ever do decide to take up the offer of a run-in in the future make sure that you can definitely get back to base within your 15hr shift as being ferried back still counts as other work and duty time, now we have this historical checking bollux by DVSA it’s no longer a case of “it’s done and dusted now and I got away with it” as it may well come back on you further down the line.

Im only about 15 minutes down the road too, only a day late though.

Still not seen Daytrunker or Dipper, probably walked past them at some point.

I know it’s now Saturday but one thing you have to do is get on the M25 before or just after 12pm after you deliver in kent or Essex,anytime after 1pm and you catch all the crap as I found out many a time on a Friday,a few times I ended up doing the maximum 15 hrs not far from my depot,all because I was sent to margate from Swindon,i hated that run bigtime.

And anyone who leaves Telford, gets the vote of my missus. Anyone who wants to/has to go back, needs there head examining. Especially if you live in Woodside.
