Width Restrictions

Last week i was travelling eastbound on the A14 near Kettering. and to avoid an incident i moved into the right hand lane i didn’t have chance to move back into lane 1. I had to remain in the width restricted lane of 6ft 6 because of the temporary metal barrier in place.

will i have been picked up by the average speed cameras for breaking the width restriction or could i have got away with it?

will i get away with a fine if I receive a NIP or am i looking at points on my licence?

or is there a chance i may have got away with it?

cheers
Mike

The cameras will be purely for speed detection and not to ensure lane discipline.

what do you think the likelihood of receiving a NIP is. as im bloody bricking it?

Highly unlikley
