Wide Loads - Info Please

Of late I have been moving quite a few wide loads form Spain to UK and vice versa.

Whilst I am aware of the requirements in Spain regarding marker boards, lighting, permits etc… I have to admit my knowledge of the UK requirements are somewhat sketchy.

Any info on the UK rules would be greatly appreciated.
