Wholesaler for hgv tyres?

Hi guys,

Does anyone know where I can find wholesaler for new hgv tyre? I am in position to buy like 200-300 tyres or what ever small container holds. I heared that there are already some haulage companies which buy small containers from abroad. Does anyone know the cost? Thanks,

For that sort of quantity I would have thought that your first port of call would be the manufacturer’s rep if you are only considering one brand. However it will not be the manufacturer offering roadside assitance to you, so seeking the last halfpenny of discount may not be as good as it first sounds, you could find that the branch closest to your casualty just happens to be waiting for delivery and unfortunately has nil stock of what you desperately require. It might well be to your considerable advantage to get the order processed via your normal distributor but by the Michelstoneyear rep.

That’s a good sales pitch, but what if the OP wants to save some money by changing the tyres they can at their operating centre rather than get robbed by extortionate call-out rates by most mobile tyre fitting companies■■?

Why would the OP necessarily need a tyre company to actually fit the casing onto a wheel? Disregarding how many he wants or the price of the tyre I don’t see the need for a call out, he can just buy loose casings, store them and fit them himself when required.

Hi, Yes we do tyres at our operating center and also have a van which can go out and do tyres on the road.

For that quantity of tyres then contact the manufacturer of your choice direct. Any particular manufacturer preferences?

I have used AL tyres in Stockport as a wholesaler in the past, but not for those quantities.
